I was sleeved in Feb. and had tons of problems and had to have a couple more procedures, but here I am 4 months out down 66lbs. My energy is returning so I am doing more in a day and falling asleep a lot easier. Trust me some time it gets harder before it gets better.

So good to hear how amazing all my Feb sleeve buddies are doing! I am doing well as well taking on more activities and finally entering onederland! It feels so good to have some of the sluggishness gone. I still get tired now and then but I am managing!

My surgery was 2/6 and I am thankfully down 50 lbs and entering onederland! Keep up all the amazing work my Feb sleeve buddies. I enjoy hearing about your progress!

Hey Enuff ....how you doing mama? How are you doing?

I was never told anything about 5,000 they just had me pay my hospital fee and their dr fee which came out to be 1,345!

I am not sure what the weight loss clinic sent in but I had to get a physc. aval, visit a nut, get my primary to write a letter, a sleep study, and history of obesity. I think that might be it!

How is it going Enuff and lovietobeme?I am doing really good I just got out the hospital yesterday. "Yay" I am still having a hard time breathing and I have to take blood thinners and go to my PCP every week for the next 6 months. I am just really starting to have to drink on my own and it's really hard but I know I don't want to go back for dehydration!
-
Oh lawd! That doesn't make me feel good.
It honestly is just one of those fluke things that can happen! They gave me the blood thinners in my belly like they were supposed and still... My poor Dr feels so bad though even though its not his fault and I swear I am being treated like a queen in here!

I was sleeved on Feb 1st and on Feb 4th I was in the ER... Chest pains and could barely breathe. After EKG and X-ray my surgeon admitted me. I was told I have Pericarditis' date=' I was not discharged until Feb 7th @ 9pm... I still have some chest pain and the cardiologist said no exercise for 2 weeks. I'm trying to stay positive but it's hard, I feel like this is holding me back.[/quote']It's really hard to have complications especially when everyone else seems to breeze right through it! I had my surgery on the 6th and I am still in the hospital because of a pulmonary embolism but I am hoping to get out around Monday. You just have to remember its just a little glitch in your plan and even though you can't work out the way you want for two weeks you will still be losing weight because of the diet! Hey maybe you might even bypass your stall because you will be adding more exercise later on!

I was up walking 15-20 mins every hour. The Dr even told me he has never seen anyone walk as much as I was!
-
I feel great honestly and I feel a lot better now knowing what was wrong and that it is fixable!
-
Yup they admitted me and they are keeping me at least for the weekend and then I will have to remain on oral blood thinners for a few months!
-
Im so sorry you are in pain but from most posts it gets better over the next couple of days. Are you taking your meds?
Yea I'm at the hospital right now my Dr thinks I might have a pulmonary embolism and that would explain the not being able to breathe!

The world according to egg face.... This is only one I her Protein ice cream mixes!!! Yummy ice cream instead of forcing down a Protein Shake count me in!!

I blend thicker Soups with veg in them then Water them down with veg stock depending on what Soup it is' date=' this makes its so it can pour like my surgeon stated. I am struggling with ideas to make meal times fun, we are a large family 7 in total and I hate sitting there drinking my weak soup while they enjoy proper meals :-( these are the times I find it the hardest especially when they are having something I really enjoy. Two more weeks then I'm on soft so must continue on liquid and know that its only the short term I will be able to eat properly one day just smaller portions :-) x[/quote']Google (The world according to egg face) she had amazing ideas on every stage of eating you are in!!

Glad you are feeling better!!Thanks that was honestly the worst pain I have ever had I thought I was dying!

Great news around 3am I took two Gas X went for an hour long walk, came home and had a few teaspoons of hot tea, while sitting up wrapped up in a heating pad! Well I feel asleep and here I am awake gas all gone!!! Also a friend that's a nurse told me to cup my hands and pat my ribs and that also helped some gas escape! So pass on the news if anyone is suffering!!!!!!

I have to stay on just Clear Liquids not even Protein Shakes for the first week then two more weeks full liquids! I thought this was a little weird cause they talk about how important your Protein and Vitamins are!
