Me either- I've heard of insurance requiring it but I've never heard if anyone not being allowed surgery for gaining.. The whole point of the surgery is because you can't seem to lose weight despite dieting.

I went to dr. Garcia in mexico... demonstrates our awesome health care system here in the US.. I live litterally behind north cypress hospital and am a paramedic, yet I don't even have the option of getting health insurance so everything has been out of poket. I am not sure about a meet up group but I'd definately be interested if people are looking to start one. Keep me posted! Denn, who is your surgeon? I'm in Kingwood. I'm two months post op and FINALLY starting to feel good. I had some complications from a stomach virus at three weeks but I'm getting on track.

Oh and to take it back to the OP... I just had a Doritos Locos Taco (8 weeks out) and it was TASTY.

I just husband to the store for taco shells, turkey meat and lactaid. I wont cave to the Bell but I MUST have a Taco NOW!!

I left this site weeks ago because of how bitter and mean people were and I really don't want to leave again. I just don't understand how things get so ugly so fast.

I'm sure y'all will think I'm nuts but I'm just so excited. I love wearing boots. Cowboy boots, knee high boots etc. My ENTIRE life my boots have always been right around my ankles and my calves. I never have had that extra space around top. Well tonight that's of the past. I put on a pair of knee high winter boots and I had extra space. They weren't tight... In fact they were almost too big!!!! A month ago I had to leave the tops of this exact pair unzipped a little because they were so tight!! I can't wait for more victories!!!

I stalled over the weekend and then restarted with about a half pound a day. Then today I randomly lost 3 lbs. 21 to go to onederland!!

I had the weird breathing. It's taken me ten days to feel normal.

My husband looked at me today and said Whoa! Your face is so much thinner...such a good man.
