I have noticed that depending on the thickness of the soup is when I feel full. I was out and ordered won ton soup gave the dumplings to the kids and had the broth. They brought 4 bowls to the table. I ate almost all the broth and didn't have that full feeling. A few days ago I was at another resturant an had cream if broccoli soup that was thick and I was stuffed in a few bites. I would assume that if the soup was more on the thin side that it acted more like a liquid and that's why you didn't get that full feeling.

For me it was easy I'll be 2 weeks out on the 31st. I pretty much relaxed at home. Did light housework, folding clothes. The first few days after my voice was kinda funny sounding from the tube and oxygen but that went away in time. Other than that I didn't do much but walk walk walk. You will be able to know if you feel upto working from home. Just remember recovery comes first. Good luck and you will do great.

I was sleeved on the 17th and after a week I felt great. Depending on your pain you should be ok a week out. Make sure you walk walk walk to get that gas pain out that will help with the discomfort.

If you still newly sleeved and doing liquid it's expected. Liquid in liquid out.

I'm a week out today, crystal light was too sweet for me, but i was able to get fluids down with G2. the only crystal light i could do was the lemon tea. walk as much as you can it helps with the gas pain. i feel almost back to 100% at a week. i am able to lay down to sleep but i had to spend the first few days upright on the sofa. It gets better everyday. just keep on sippin.

The punch one was beyond nasty. Gave me cotton mouth and the aftertaste was so bad, but the green one isn't too bad. The first few days the shakes were too much from me and the drinks were the only way to get my protein in.

I went in the 17th and was home on the 18th by 1pm. No issues at all

I took a brush, toothbrush and paste, wore same clothes in as out. Flip flops I wore there. Chapstick phone and charger and my pillow so I could be comfy.

It's because of the high protein. Our fiber is fairly low.

I mix Metamucil the clear one into my drinks just to keep everything moving

Depends on your dr. Mine told me to crush them for 3 months. When all else fails check with your dr.

Is that like when you kick the computer to make it work?

I was sleeved on the 17th and mine is quite noisy as well. I'm off the pain meds. It doesn't always do it. But when it does its loud, louder than I ever remember. But this too will pass.

I was sleeved on the 17th. I'm doing shakes, cream soups, very thin cream of wheat, and yogurt. For 2 weeks then I go to puréed.

Katt Williams is awesome! Let your haters be your motivators. People will hate because you did something for yourself that they prob didn't or wouldn't have the courage to do for themselves. You look great keep up the good work!

Your body needs to heal first off. Second it is empty calories. Why put your body through surgery if you won't follow the plan?

I paid 15,000 in Houston. That included everything and 1 year follow up. I'm only 2 days out but I know I couldn't do it by myself so it was money well spent.

Well I was sleeved on the 17th. Surgery went well but I woke up feeling so sick. Took a while, lots of rest and hitting that morphine pump quite a few times but by 4pm I was good. I got up and walked and walked. Had a problem passing urine and was about to get a cath when bam, I finally went potty enough. The nurses were surprised how well I was getting around. I slept ok lastnight had a little bit of reflux pain but no real gas pain. I burped some but that was about it. This morning the took me for my leak test and all was good. They brought me a breakfast and lunch trey within 20 of eachother. I sipped on my water and broth. The nurse came in an removed my iv and morphine and said I could go home. So my mom came to get me and the car ride home was good. I don't live too far from the hospital. I felt pretty good so I asked my mom if she would stay while I took a shower and then she head home. I did my walking too my pain meds and slept. I have been sipping on my protein shake and my water taking it slow so I don't have any surprises. My tummy is over here talking to me as we speak but all in all I feel good.
