I've always loved Breakfast casserole' date=' but most of them are more bread than Protein. Not this one! One serving (and I could only eat 1/2 a serving) has 140 calories, 12g of Protein and only 3g of carbs.1 1/2 cups ham (cubed or shredded)
6 oz plain Greek yogurt
1/4 cup crushed crackers (saltines/Ritz)
1/4 cup shredded cheese
2 tablespoons margarine
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion (I used onion flakes)
6 eggs
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray an 8x8 pan.
Melt the margarine in a large bowl. Add the ham, yogurt, crackers, cheese and onion. Stir. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl, then stir into the first mixture. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until center is firm. Let stand before serving. 9 servings.[/quote']
I'm saving this dish!! I love breakfast casserole as does my family:) thanks for sharing:)

I've finally perfected my personal favorite Protein shake :-) & now I shall share it with all of you If you love coffee + chocolate… Enjoy!chocolate Classic® Mocha shake (or Iced Coffee):
•8oz 1% milk
•1 scoop chocolate Classic Unjury® Powder
(can be purchased online @
www.Unjury.com)
•1 1/2 Tbps. Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (I use Hershey's®)
•2 Tbps. Decaf. Instant coffee (1 1/2 Tbps. for a weaker coffee taste)
•5 Splenda® (4 if using 1 1/2 coffee)
•Add Ice to cup until full (I use a beverage blender' date=' it works best in my opinion)
Blend until ice is smooth, but don't over blend or your drink will be liquid)...if it is liquid add ice cubes afterwards & it's still a delicious iced!!!
Let me know how you like it, if you try it

I finally got my time for Monday Jan 28th. I have to be at the hospital @ 6:30am surgery @ 8am. I am so glad it's early morning!Sent from my iPhone using VST

I am 2 days post op, got to go home yesterday:) I has less pain in the hospital because that gave me 3 different pain meds but only sent me home with one. I'm on clears only until Sat then I can try soft foods like yogurt and cream of wheat. My belly is still swollen and trying to walk the gas out! Over all I'm doing well:)

Hello everyone' date='I had my surgery on Monday Jan. 21st. weight before surgery was 344lbs and starting over all weight was 360lb.
Had my first Protein drink today and that helped a lot and was so good. hope things get easier from here.
The one thing I am having trouble with and would like to see if anyone else had the same problem. I am having issues watching tv. All the fast food commercials and other food commercials are just making me upset i guess I can say. It's like that looks really good and ill never be able to have it again. not sure if its a stage a lot of people go through but seems like that's my biggest thing at the moment.
Everything else has been going great. going to head to the mall and walk around a bit today. maybe spend some money on stuff i don't need to boost my spirits. lol
Thanks,
John[/quote']
It's normal to have emotions when you see food you enjoy. I have had my own mourning so to speak for food that can't be in my new life style. No foods are off limits forever but we would not need WLS if we could stay away from the foods that got us to this point. I have gotten to where I leave the room when food commercials are on or change the channel. It gets better:)

I use sugar free syrups to help favor them( the kind in the coffee section) . I am at the point i dislike any Protein Drinks after 11 days of them But I try to make them palatable. It is hard when you have to drink them daily. Hang in there

I am on day 10 of 14 days of liquid pre op diet and it does get easier. the first 4 days were the hardest. I find chicken broth ( I use the reduced sodium Swansen's the best). I am allowed SF popsicles and crystal light drinks along with Water. The only down fall I have is no energy and brain fog. You are not alone and you CAN DO IT!!

Hi everyone:) I just came across this form yesterday and am excited to know there is one! I am scheduled for my sleeve 1/23/13 so it is coming up soon and I know I need support other than the once a month meeting at my surgeons office. I am doing my doctor required pre op diet now which is 4 Protein Shakes per day plus 64oz of fluids. It is has been a struggle to not eat when everyone around you is living normal.
