  1. Hello,

I'm interested in starting to take a Pre-Workout supplement. I've been in a bit of a slump lately. I barely started working out again after avoiding it for 2 months. Though the scale still says 153lbs my clothes are fitting much much tighter. I'm 10 months post surgery. Can anyone recommend a good pre workout drink for WLS patients?

Thanks in advance for all your help!

    Noelle

  2. Hi All,

I had surgery on 5/30. Though my incisions are healing nicely and my gas pains are gone. I'm still having some muscle pain on my right side close to my belly button. It feels like a muscle pain and it hurts when I laugh, or cough. I'm at the point where I need to hold pressure to the spot/ muscle to cough, or laugh, or even sit up.

Could it be a possible hernia?

    Thanks in advance!

  3. Hi All,

I recently just had my gastric sleeve converted to the gastric bypass. I was sleeved in April 2013 and began to suffer from severe acid reflux along with weekly vomiting. My surgeon suggested doing a conversion to the bypass that that would stop the acid reflux and vomiting.

I had the revision surgery on 5/30 right now I'm still on puréed food.

Has anyone else done a surgery conversion and what has been your experience?

    Thanks in advance!

  4. Hi everyone, I have a few concerns that I was hoping to get advice on. I had surgery on 4/12/13 and my day of surgery weight was 208. Currently I am 9 1/2 weeks post op and I'm 185. For a total weight loss 23 lbs. I'm in taking 75-90 grams of Protein a day and roughly 1000 cals. im working out 5 days a week doing 40 mins of cardio each day. i even talk to the bariatric coordinator at the hospital where I got it done and she agreed I should be loosing much quicker. Help!!

    Thanks in Advance

  5. I just keep thinking how this is major surgery. I'm afraid I might regret having the surgery. I'm 28' 5'1" and 215. I've dropped significant weight and have gained it back so many times. My weight is constantly fluctuating. Do any low BMI-ers regret having the surgery? Or feel the pain and everything wasn't worth it? Or wish they lost it on their own instead?

Thanks in advance for your help :)
