Are There Any Single Sleevers Out There..
I am finally confident enough with myself that I have started to date again. WOW! Now that I am loosing weight, I am finding men that want a full figured woman, and the fact that I am loosing weight and plan on continuing to do so is a deal breaker to them!!! Really???? Has anyone else experienced this?

Rollercoaster NSV!
It felt fantastic! But it was somewhat bittersweet, my daughter was not able to ride due to her size . I hope it was motivation for her to get serious about losing weight!

Rollercoaster NSV!
I was lucky enough to receive free tickets from my company for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay this last weekend. I was afraid to try a rollercoaster at first, the last time I went to a theme park I barely fit in them. Between that time and my surgery I had gained quite a but of weight. I am happy to say that the two coasters I tried, I fit in! yippee!

Walden Farms

Wow..... I may sound like a dork, but I have knuckles!
Thanks! Not many around me really understand what a big deal it really is, oh they are encouraging and supportive, but when I say something like this they just don't comprehend that it is a big deal for me!

Hello ladies!
There must have been a reason that you were not together with him currently. Think long and hard at that reason first and don't make any rash decisions. If it is ment to be it will happen. first and foremost take care of yourself, and your son. Good luck on what you chose.

Wow..... I may sound like a dork, but I have knuckles!
This may sound corny but I actually discovered I have knuckles yesterday! Before they were just little 'bumps' that you could bearly see when I made a fist, but now I can actually see the bones! Can this be classified as a small accoplishment? I think it does LOL:)

No More Advil.....EVER!
- proudgrammy is proud!
Awesome! You look wonderful, congratulations! You are truly an inspiration!- No More Advil.....EVER!
My surgeon & nut say no more nsaids. Nut also has me on anti inflammatory diet which restricts certain foods like white potatoes, oats, wheat and tomatoes (there are many many more), and to reduce inflammation, eating foods like rice, sweet potatoes, broccoli most fresh fruit coho salmon, flax seed ground out oil (good source of omega 3's too). I am 5 months out and have not needed the advil (used daily prior too surgery) another thing you might try for arthritis is grape seed oil, nut was telling me about a spray that works. Not sure where to get it though.- How common is a liver biopsy with VSG?
I don't remember them doing a liver biopsy, but I know the surgeon and nut told me the better I did on the pre-op diet, the less pain there would be, and I must have done well as there was not a lot fortunately. I had a different pre-op than most, not liquid, but low fat liver cleansing diet to shrink the the liver.- Help building a WARNING - Worst Slider Foods List
Lindor truffles! I was really hoping they would make me really sick, and not tempt me no more.- 10 months

Hi, I'm in Winter Haven FL, and I was sleeved in Tampa on 10/24/12. So fast I have lost 60 lbs and feeling fabulous!- Price
I had my surgery last october, and the hospital billed about $38,000 but the insurance made a contractual adjustment and paid $17,500, luckily my deductable and out of pocket had been met, so I didn't owe anything.- 399!
That is fantastic! Keep it up the good work.- Vitamin advice
I would be very careful about taking the fish oil our any other supplements that are in gelcap form .... We were warned that they do not break down in our small tummies and can expand& block the stomas. We had one man in our support group session this month that that happened too and hit had to have it strictly removed. I take either liquid, chewable or fast dissolving vegetarian capsule specifically designed for bariatric patients.- 4 months out & no regrets ... Well maybe just one small one :)
Your right, I am proud of my progress! And I am looking forward to getting down to my goal weight, no matter how long it takes to get there!- 4 months out & no regrets ... Well maybe just one small one :)
Thanks! Keep going, you will notice little changes here & there, but for me it really didn't sink in until I saw these pics together. This forum has really helped me a lot .... It has some great resources and good tips too!- 4 months out & no regrets ... Well maybe just one small one :)
I am just over 4 months out and I am so glad I decided to do this! I only have one regret and that is that I did not opt for the surgery sooner! I am sure many feel the same. My starting weight was 333 lbs, 328 at date of surgery, and I am now down to 275! I may be somewhat of a slow looser, but I am pleased with my progress. I am no longer taking any blood pressure or cholesterol meds and I feel fantastic! I am attaching two pics, one the day I meet with the nutritionist one month before surgery when I was at my highest weight of 333. The second was two weeks ago when I was at 279.
