Not there yet, but when I am, I should be eating 600 to 800.

Glad you are feeling better!

Your body has taken several hits so I think it would be pretty normal to be feeling crappy right now. Hope you feel better soon!

Many folks early out seem to have regrets. It is too soon for you to see a big difference in how you look or feel. Why don't you go online and look at some cute clothes that you can wear later? Things that you wouldn't wear now. That may give you some encouragement!

I am so sorry. I hope this gets resolved for you soon.

The conventional wisdom is that good relationships get better after WLS, and bad ones get worse. Your DH is not being supportive at all. I am so sorry. You deserve better.

My dr. has all his patients on a PPI for six months.

Someone as highly motivated as you are should do very, very well. I am looking forward to reading about your successes.

Congrats! Sounds like you are doing wonderfully well.

YeahYeahYeah, I would want to see the doc and get a leak ruled out. Are you on a PPI?

Mine will be August 5th, in Mexicali with Dr. Aceves. Feels like August 5th is soooo far away.

Congrats! Glad you did so well.

My DH is a thin type II diabetic, too!

Have you read the blog, "The World According to Eggface"? She has some of her meals on there and incorporates veggies and fruit.< /sub>

I am pre-op, but my DH isn't thrilled about this whole thing. He keeps reminding me, "you like to eat" and says I have not tried hard enough to lose the weight. From everything I have read, yes, there will be changes. We will not be able to eat all the same foods we used to. We may not enjoy the same restaurants, either. Our bodies will be changing and we will be self-absorbed about getting in enough liquid, Protein, exercise, etc. I have heard it makes good marriages stronger and poor marriages disolve, for the most part.

Oh, yeah. My PCP is against WLS because she has patients who had the RNY who have a great deal of pain. However, my gyno is all for it.

The doctors have more experience with our altered stomachs than we do. Do you really want to risk popping a staple and having a leak? IMO, you should follow the guidelines your doctor gave you.

Hi, are you a fellow southerner? I live close to Columbia, SC. My date is August 5th. It is completely normal to be nervous!

Also, you are going to need to monitor your reaction to foods. Some folks discover that they cannot eat certain carbs because if they do, it triggers their carb addiction and makes them hungry all day long.

How far out are you? Maybe you should go back a stage for a day or two and try again.
