I am being sleeved in Mexicali by Dr. Aceves on August 5th. If I had it done it town, it would cost me 20K. My surgery in Mexico will cost 8750, plus plane fare. And, I will be in the hospital three days, not one and will have three leak tests.

Prayers and good wishes sent your way!

I have not had my surgery yet, but my insurance absolutely excludes anything related to my weight loss surgery. I am going to purchase complication insurance.

Perfectly normal, from what I have been reading. Oh, the joys my DH has to look forward to in August!

Hey, OopsyDaisy, are you an SC gal, too?
-
You sure can!

I like most I have tried, too, which consist of: Chike, Matrix, Syntrax Nectar and Unjury (chocolate only so far for this one). My DD did say that the Blue Sky nectar was yucky unless you doctor it up with berries and yogurt.

That sounds good! I like the coconut Creamer with my chocolate Protein Shakes.< /p>

How long do you plan to be out for surgery?

We got a home equity loan since the house has to have foundation work and a new roof, so I added in what I needed for my surgery, too.

Are you walking any? That helps with gas pain.

Better ask your doctor. If you have to pick up small children, I would say four to six weeks.

You look wonderful!

It shows up but is shadow light. Try editing it and darkening the text color on the very light portion.

You should have a deductible and out-of-pocket max. Call your insurance company and ask them. Wish my insurance covered it, but I will be self pay.

I told my boss I am having surgery on August 5th and will be out six weeks. Gave no explanation as to what I am having done.

Shortdog, it's a girl thing. On that note, I haven't been sleeved yet but will probably name mine after I meet him or her... Gotta see if she is a cranky wench or laid back and easy to live with.

What kind of Dr. are you looking at for aftercare? I don't see why a PCP wouldn't be willing to run the lab work on you at the recommended intervals. My gynecologist has agreed to do my aftercare. There is also complication insurance you can purchase through a company in Canada.
