Welcome Neil... When I started my reserch on the Lap-Band this site helped me a lot.. I knew i wanted the LapBand over the bypass but this site confrimed every question I ha. Read everything it is so helpful

Oh I so wish I could.. banded or not it would be a great thing to do, I just cant even walk to my car or mailbox without wanted to curl up in a ball and cry from pain. Good luck with the walk though!

Well i think everyone gave great info, and I agree and go with them. I havent been banded yet and I have looked in the Bypass but relized i wasnt ready for a "inside body makeover" I love my insides i dont want to lose them hehe also i chose the Lap-Band because I will lose weight slower, there is no chance of gastric juice leakage, its reversable, adjustable.. and most important to me anyway I will be able to have children.
