you can go with it two diffrent ways... this is just me.... 1 way you can just tell them "Oh im eatting a lot less these days" 2 way You can tell them " oh I had WLS the lapband which helps control what I am eatting so I eat much less." You dont have to tell them all the rules of the band I wouldnt think.. Hmmmm maybe someone will have better ideas..

Hi terri, Dr. Smith is my Dr too and I travel to Pueblo from Albuquerque. I know they did at one time have a support group right there at Corwin on Tuesday nights.. You might want to call Dr. Smith's office and talk to Carla, she will know more about it. I know Nikki was in charge of it.. not sure anymore though.

the ones on ebay are WAYYYY over priced... they should of made more looking at the fact that they were running out even on pre-orders. Wheetsin~ we are to much alike... its just me and my husband too and he is so into thoes games I made him get rid of at lest one last year but he will never part from his xbox now... crazy oversized kids!

I never heard of anything like that... How do you even check your liver levels? and what do they mean? what is milk thistle anyway.. something you buy at a health food store? Hmmm inm intrested in knowing... And Congrats on getting or cholesterol lower and liver levels in a normal range!

Oh Crystal, I hope you dont have a leak... Thats how I found out I had a leak. He would put in 2ccs and only pull out 1cc... until he put in 3ccs and pulled out almost nothing... that day I went to get my fill. That was the reason I wasnt losing any weight, my restriction was very low.. or i had none at all. Think of it this way, if it is a leak then you will finally know why you are a slow loser... I wish you the best! and lets us know Wednesday right away.. I will be thinking about you!

Well I guess now I know why I have not been able to lose much weight.. I always thought it was strange that after a fill 2 days later I felt the same as if I never had a fill at all. I just thought that there were air bubbles or something in the tubing causing this. Anyway Friday after a hard painfull fill he just about put 6 or more ccs in.. and nothing the Water went down fine. It didnt hit me much until my Dr. hung his head down and sighed.. I got tears in my eyes when he said you have a leak. My Dr. thinks it happened on one of the fills when he was trying to locate my port and probably stuck the tubing near the port with the needle. He puts the blame on himself. He also told me that more then likely insurence will not cover a revised port but he will really really work with me since this was his fault. So that was nice of him... He also said that I sould have lost more weight then I have. So I guess those nights I sat and cried and cried thinking I was a failure.. was really worthless because it wasnt really my fault. Im looking at a revision sometime in Dec. after this Semester is over and before the next one starts. Next problem.. You know how I have been talking about sharp pain near my stomach area? The pain was so bad I would have to sit and rub my tummy over and over.. it felt like somthing was ripping... Well He is thinking.. we are not sure yet, but he thinks it could be a Herrnia (sp?) Well that would explaine the pain.. but How would I even get one.. thats got me thinking. I guess While he is in there doing my Port Revision I will have him take a look at that area with the pain and he will know what is it from there. I just want to be fixed.. Im not scared or even regret my band. I still love my band and I have lost 50pounds because of it. So im still in high sprits. I know this is all going to work out.
