  1. I am 3 weeks post op..lost steadily for the first 2' date=' then went up 2 lbs and have been stuck there for 3 days. Isn't it too early to hit a plateau. Doing everything according to the book, but am very depressed about this stall.[/quote']

i dont know to be honest i emailed my NUT in a panic and she spoke with the dr whonsaid this is "normal" ... for who is mybquestion who eats 500-700 cals a day and still is 190?! ive only seen stalls on here no one i no personally ...except me has had them sooooo i dnt know im holding on to the hope i will say that at 10 weeks out i weight thebexact same for 5 weeks now im down 4 more lbs but i cant help thinking if inwas a consistant loser i would be 20-25# lighter

  2. Some days I get frustrated too! I was sleeved on 8/5 and depending on what starting weight you use I'm down between 30 and 16 pounds. My weight when starting this journey was 204' date=' my weight the date of surgery was 190, today I weighed 174. When I think I have only lost 16# since surgery, I begin to wonder if I wasted my money as well.

What keeps me going is knowing that if I keep following the rules eventually the weight will come off. There is no way I'm going to stay at 174 forever when I only consume 700-800 calories a day including 70g of Protein. I started off with a lower BMI than most, so it's just going to take me longer.

My body has already changed significantly. My husband compliments me constantly and anyone who hasn't seen me since before surgery tells me how skinny I look. Not sure how that few pounds of loss can make this much difference, but it does.

Just keep doing what you are doing and try not to compare yourself to others. Try on the clothes you were wearing prior to surgery and I bet you will see a big difference. Go clothes shopping and see how you look in the size of clothes you couldn't fit in before the surgery (just don't buy them, since you are still shrinking ...).

In a few months I bet you will come back and tell us how great you are looking![/quote']

thank you so much for your response you have no idea !!! and true my 18 i had to give away and the 16's are a bit baggy i just wish i wasnt so crazy about this numbers thing really ...thanks again the best of luck to you !!!
