  1. Thanks guys, yeah, I know the things I do that are wrong but that's my problem I get discouraged and want to give up, so I need some words or advice to get me over that hump!! I think I'm ok with my protein but my hair is coming out rapidly. I take biotin and I take a multi vitamin. But maybe it's not enough. I do walk every day, 2 miles! Now, I live in the Atlanta area and we have had lots of rain since Christmas and that henders me and the cold also. I started back walking yesterday and I must say I do feel better. Thanks for the motivation and advice!! I'll take all I can get!!!

I am so afraid of getting back into my old rabbits of emotional eating. I'm working on getting a therapist that can help me a little but I still see myself wanting to eat bad things and too much of it!!! Help!!! If I could think if something that I could snAck on that wouldn't take up a lit of room in mt tummy and wouldn't be bad for me that way i could have it when I feel the impulse to eat. I also am having a hard time getting myself motivated to walk. I can't really do a lot bc if my back and my arms. I go to my neurologist on the 5th about the pain in my arms. Any words of encouragement would help!!!

  10. Well he said as ling as it dint make me sick to go without food then he don't see why I couldn't do it.
  11. I have had two concerns or questions over the past 3 weeks and while a whole lit of people view or read my concern, no one is willing to answer or reply to mt post. Am I posting my concerns in the wrong place. I thought this forum was full of veterans who have been through all this and succeeded!! Should I just ask another forum? Bc I'm getting nothing on here.
  12. Do any of you fast? (spiritually)? I'm a Christian and recently I have felt lead to fast. I'm only doing it 2 days at a time, as to get my body used to no food. It's been pretty easy so far. I stay in God's word and pray. It really makes me feel good. I do a juice fast. I can only have juice a little at a time. Just looking for others.
  13. Wow!!!! You look great!!! Any advice as to working out and what you eat?? I'm 5 weeks post op and 26 lbs down!!
  14. I find that when I wake up I'm full of energy, so I get on my gear and I go walking, but about an hour after I can't keep my eyes open. Does napping after walking hurt my calorie burning or sabotaged my weight loss??
  15. Im 3 weeks post op and 20 lbs down. It was so easy at first to not over eat and really, I didn't have an appetite at all, but now I fund myself not wanting to eat too much, but eat things that aren't actually good for me!! I hate my brain. It drives me crazy. I think about food all the time!!! I don't work, I'm on disability due to, two back surgeries, fibromyalgia, diabetes, arthritis and just general poor health. I have a lot of time on my hands. I try to walk when I'm not in pain. I can't do weights because my fibro, is attacking my biceps, I've never felt so much pain. I can barely lift my arms over my head. I want to get motivated. I want to walk everyday atleast a mile, two would be even better!! I need advice. I need an accountability partner. I hate myself right now. I'm still not getting enough protein, I'm supposed to be logging my meals but I just don't.... Please help
  16. Wow!!! I was 318 at time if surgery, in 3 weeks and 2 days post op and I'm 298!
  17. How much did you weigh going in. You don't look that big sitting in the chair. I see the difference though, great job, I can't wait to see what I look like at 6 months!!
  18. I found it, that's the one I've downloaded, thanks
  19. Out and I'm soaked. Stupid auto correct!
  20. Yeah I've heard of that bread. Well I started walking 15 minutes ago and now the bottom has fell outward I'm soaked. I'm sick of rain!!!
  21. Yeah, eggs are on my list, there are a lit of things on my list that are not on others. And my meal portion in 4-6 tablespoons not 2-3. I understand what everyone is trying to say but my guidelines are just way different than everyone else's. I don't know why. I have talked to lots if my surgeons patients and everyone has done great following his plan. I do put my chicken in my ninja before I make the chicken salad. I can live without bread. I do live with my mother and my two teenage boys. My husband left us for the second time back in 2012 so I lost my house. But oddly enough I'm happier now than o have been in 17 years, which is how old my oldest son is...lol thanks for all the advice, I really appreciate it. Haha...The Soup Nazi!!!
  22. How am I sabotaging myself. I'm not eating anything not on my list with the exception of bread. I'm not eating too much, only my 4-6 tablespoons, 5 times a day. And I'm not eating 5 meals a day. I have to force myself to eat 3 times a day.
  23. Eggs is the first food listed on my 7-11 day list. Plus finely chopped chicken, fats like butter and mayo. Basically any food I can mash with a fork. These are all in my book. Now the bread was the one thing not on there. But it has not made me sick. I can have green beans, mashed potatoes, melon, strained berries, cooked carrots.
