  1. Did you have your surgery on 3/27?? I'm scheduled for 6/20... I'm having a revision from the sleeve to the DS... how did things go for you?
  2. How did your surgery go? I'm looking into a revision of my bag, possibly with Dr Gonzalez...
  3. I could go for 158!! You look great! I'm 4'11 too! I can't wait to get my sleeve:)
  4. Thanks so much!! I hope the wait goes by fast:)
  5. So glad I found the Oklahoma thread! I'm 26 F, heaviest weight 247, 4'11", from NEOK. I'm currently on my 6 mo diet. Can't wait to get this goin!
  6. I'm from Oklahoma too! I'm from NEOK about 10 miles south of Grand Lake in a little town called Jay:) I'm just starting on my journey to surgery! Good luck everyone!
  7. I am from Jay, OK... Far NE corner of OK. I'm hoping to have my surgery at the end of the year... Keep your fingers crossed! lol How are you feeling? How'd the surgery go?
  8. NysiOklahoma... I'm from NE OK... A little bitty town called Jay!!! I'm 26, and I'm really wanting to have this surgery at the end of the year. I love this site! I'm almost addicted to seeing everyone's daily progress! The lives being changed b/c of this procedure are unbelievable!! I'm excited to follow your story too! Congrats on making the "loser's bench"!!
  9. Has anyone else noticed the increased snoring with weight gain? I think I may have always been a light snorer (is that even a word?! lol), but it's getting ridiculous now! For those of you who snored before, can you tell a difference after losing weight?!
  10. I've been waiting for a forum like this!!!! I've also wondered how the weight loss affects those of shorter stature! I'm 26, 4'11", and weigh 245(ish). I'm really wanting to have my surgery at the end of this year. I have the usual, high BP, PCOS, higher end of normal blood sugar, and SNORING:( Some people don't understand that when you're shorter, the weight makes even more of a difference in your health! So glad to finally meet some of you who were/are in my same situation!!!!
  11. I'm assuming b/c you have less to lose your weight may come off a little slower than most. There are some forums about people w/lower BMIs... You might read em if you get a chance. I could be totally wrong though... So don't take my word for it! lol I'm so glad for you! I can't wait to get everything together and get a surgery date!!
  12. Me too! I absolutely love following everyone's progress and hearing all the updates!! It makes me more anxious to get all of my stuff lined up!
