  1. I have had to up my calories to 1100 to maintain (my wedding is Saturday and I couldn't get my dress altered 1000 times- so with my doctors approval I went into maintenance briefly). I've still lost a couple pounds but it has been very sporadic. (160-158).

I'm 4'11 and weighed 158 this morning. Wearing a medium and size 10.

I could go for 158!! You look great! I'm 4'11 too! I can't wait to get my sleeve:)

  2. Hi' date=' aonthehill!! I'm still in my 6 month diet as well. They are thinking a July surgery for me. How far are you into yours? Where are you going to be having surgery?[/quote']

I'm looking at around Aug or Sept... I'm actually having my surgery done at Hastings Indian Hospital in Tahlequah, OK.

  3. Aonthehill' date=' I know exactly where Jay is! Who are you wanting to use? I LOVED Bailey Medical in Owasso. They were so amazing to me and my Surgeon, WOW. I love him. If you have any questions I could answer I would be glad to! :) Thank you![/quote']

I'm actually looking into Dr Alvarez in Mexico... Mainly b/c I'll be a self pay patient. So glad to see you're doing well!!

  4. NysiOklahoma... I'm from NE OK... A little bitty town called Jay!!! I'm 26, and I'm really wanting to have this surgery at the end of the year. I love this site! I'm almost addicted to seeing everyone's daily progress! The lives being changed b/c of this procedure are unbelievable!! I'm excited to follow your story too! Congrats on making the "loser's bench"!!

  5. I've been waiting for a forum like this!!!! I've also wondered how the weight loss affects those of shorter stature! I'm 26, 4'11", and weigh 245(ish). I'm really wanting to have my surgery at the end of this year. I have the usual, high BP, PCOS, higher end of normal blood sugar, and SNORING:( Some people don't understand that when you're shorter, the weight makes even more of a difference in your health!

So glad to finally meet some of you who were/are in my same situation!!!!

  6. Thanks! Also I guess I'm eager to know how much weight loss is averages per week. I know that everyone is different but just curious. My weight right now is 195# and I'm 5' 7". I can't decide since I would like to lose 65# if it will come off fast or it will come off slower than someone who has more weight to lose?

I'm assuming b/c you have less to lose your weight may come off a little slower than most. There are some forums about people w/lower BMIs... You might read em if you get a chance. I could be totally wrong though... So don't take my word for it! lol

I'm so glad for you! I can't wait to get everything together and get a surgery date!!
