  1. I didn't have this problem after I was sleeved, but I did after a diff surgery. I ended up having to take some kind of allergy med for about 3 months. It's was so sever it was painful. I would go to the doc and see what he says, the meds my doc put me on where the only thing that helped me. Good Luck

  2. I just saw this and I'm so glad, I was sleeved 10/16 and I have lost 73 pounds and am really excited about it. However the second half of Febuary and so far in March my weight loss has really slowed. I keep telling myself as long as its still going down its ok. But it did take me a full month to lose 5 pounds this last month and I have stalled right now been then exact pound and ounce for about 10 days. I am going to add in another day of exercise and try and maybe switch up what I'm doing to get my loss jump started again. But I'm feeling good, I went from a size 24/26 to a size 12 so far and I've got 35 to 40 pounds to go. So excited to see where I'm at in a few more months.

  3. I told my 5 and 8 year old that I was going to get healthier, luckily they where totally satisfied with that. However I spent way more time asking them what fun things they where going to do with daddy while I was away. I helped them make plans and look forward to there one on one time at home with there dad instead. A year before I spent 15 days in the hospital for an emergency surgey but because this was planned and they knew I would be away they where totally find.

  4. Ok, so I recently hit my first major stall. I have made sure my diet is where it should be and I'm pretty good there. A friend said I should try changing up my exercise routine to kinda re kick start my weight loss. I already go to the gym 4-5 times a week I do 1 hour of cardio and 25-30 mins of strenght. However I have not found a good routine for my home where I have no equipment, can someone recommend some good at home work outs I can do on my off gym days and any other work out advice I would love. I am new to the whole work out thing, my husband normally helps me but he was recently deployed with the Army so im kinda at a loss. Thanks all

  5. I was like that with most foods at first, but for for me I think it was mental. My brain was figuring out its new relationship with food. Now I'm only 5 months out and a lot of foods that at first made my stomach turn are good. Unfortunately I still can't eat spicy food, which kind stinks cause that's my favorite but oh well I figure its a good thing I doesn't settle we'll in my stomach cause now I don't have to worry about being cautious not to eat to much. Gotta look on the positive side. Oh ya I also can't do a lot of dairy foods anymore.

  6. I am with you, I'm only 5 months out but have lost 72 pounds. I was in a size 24 and now am in a size 12. It's so weird because you think getting dressed should be one of the most exciting parts of your day but for me it's very uncomfortable because well to be honest I don't even know how to dress at this size. I to was in high school last time I was this size and I don't want to dress like that again, lol. But I am excited also, it's like I get a new start. I can make and mold myself into whomever I want to be and I love that. It sure has turned into an amazing adventure I am excited to see where it takes me. I'm am sorry you have lost friends over this, I know how that feels. My family is still very angry with me for making the choice to have this surgey and when I eat around them they constantly mention how unhealthy they think my ratting habits are and don't want to listen to my explanation. Oh well is all I can say, my husband and I are both super happy with the results so far. They will come around, and if they don't oh well, other people will come into my life that can love me as I am. Good luck and remember your not alone on this journey!

  7. This was my worst food habit. I know for me it is most def head hunger, sometimes I actually go to bed early because the cravings are so bad at night for me. I'm almost five months out from being sleeved and I still struggle with it but am doing a lot better. When it first hits I have a hot cup of tea and sometimes a cup serving of popcorn and that's it. It is still a constant struggle but it is getting better everyday.

  8. Not sure where to post this at, I'm confused with how many calories I need. I use the my fitness pal app and it adds the calories I've burned to my daily intake. I can not even get to my normal daily intake let alone eat all these extra calories I've burned. However since I've upped my exercise I've been getting dizzy and light headed and am pretty sure in need to add in more calories to my diet, however it doesnt seem right to eat all the calories ive just worked so hard to burn off. i can't get in to see my doc till the first week of April so I was hoping maybe someone here could help. Just want to make sure I'm not hurting my body and doing what's healthiest.

  9. I am almost exactly 10 weeks out from getting my sleeve. I can handle a lot of solid foods now which I am so thankful for. However I can only manage to get in about 500 to 600 calories a day. Should I be concerned about this? It is mostly Protein that I'm eatting. I never did drink any Protein shakes as they always made me sick however until recently I was drinking Isopure however I just moved and can't find it in San Diego. Anyways mostly wondering about what a normal calorie intake should look like for me and I can't get in to see my new doc until late January.

    Thanks
