I was sleeved 1/29 and I'm down 33 pounds including pre-op diet. I'm thrilled that I've had zero complications and I love my sleeve but I'm stalled and a little frustrated. I get all my protein and fluids easily and probably too much exercise! I know it will pass and will just continue to do my best but its hard!
I was sleeved on 1/29 and stalled right at 3 weeks. I lost 33 pounds then nothing for the last 5 days. Yesterday I had to buy some clothes and bought my first piece of clothing without an "X" on the label. It was just a plain "L". Trying to keep focused on that!
I'm on my second week of it and I feel greatI I've had tons of energy which is surprising. I've been keeping myself busy working out! I love the shakes too. It's almost liberating not to have to think about what to eat! Good luck!!
I got approved this morning. Thank you Cigna! Friday is pre-op and tuesday is my surgery date. I've been busy exercising to keep my mind off of it and that combined with the liquid diet has me down 10lbs. already. Good luck everyone!
Hey all! Newbie here! I'm hoping for the 29th here in Atlanta. Paperwork was submitted yesterday to insurance!
I'm on my 4th day of 2 weeks of liquids and feeling great! Smell of burgers from Five Guys nearly killed me yesterday though. 3rd day was definitely the hardest. Working out a lot for distraction which isn't easy on 800-1000 calories but I find if I just add a tsp of peanut butter it helps. Good luck everyone!
I've been going to yoga (bikram mostly!) for almost 3 years. I'm having the surgery done mostly because I enjoy it so much that I want to be able to deepen my practice without all the fat getting in the way! I'm so glad to hear you made it back so soon and I thought the deep stretch class would be the one I did first post op. thanks for sharing. It's a relief to know so many people are still exercising!
