  1. Good for you! You look amazing.
  2. I have my 2 week post op check up on Wed 1/23. Just wanting to know when everyone's Dr lets them start working out?
  3. I am in the stage of blended chicken and full liquids. I tried something today I will check with my NUT on Monday to see if I can do it again. I put my chicken breast in the blender with some Franks Hot Sauce. My stomach took it fine. It was so good to have flavor I am afraid they will not allow it. Any thoughts??? I am 12 days post op and doing great just getting board.qqqq

    Blending soups...

I got the tomato and roasted red pepper soup at Costco it is great.
  5. I had my surgery on 1/8 on 1/10 my dr started me on full liquids and blended foods ie: blended chicken with low fat mayo, blended tuna with low fat mayo, blended beans with chicken broth. I am seeing people on here still on clear liquids. Each serving is about 2oz. With the protein drinks I am taking in about 560-620 calories. Does that sound like a lot? I know each dr is different but just looking for feedback .

I am doing ok with the liquids. I am a little nervous my dr has on day 3-20 we can start full liquids plus blended low fat Soups blended chicken with low fat mayo or tuna with low fat mayo everyone else seems to have stricter guidelines. How many cal is everyone taking in in a day? I am about 580-600.

@ anume that stabbing burning feeling is what I feel. I really hurts getting up and down or in and out of bed. I don't have that gassy feeling in my chest though. Good luck to you guys. I am proud to say I am off insulin for 2 days now and I was on an insulin pump. I am so excited. Lets keep our eyes on the prize.:-)

Wow... I hope that passes. I have read that on hear but I have not experienced that. Try to drink little sips you don't want to go back to the hospital. Hang in there it will get better. Think of the big pic...

I heard thar I forgot it was on so I took it off yesterday. I guess it takes a couple of days to get it out of your system.
  11. I just have a couple of questions... 1 has anyone had blurry vision close up after surgery? 2 is anyone's sites on their stomach very sore on the inside (I have one on the right side under my breast that it burns on the inside). I was told this is the one he did the most work out of. I have not heard anyone talk about this on here. Other than these concerns I can't believe I can get so full on so little. Oh.... One more thing today I am down to the weight I was the morning i went to the hospital at. When does the scale start going down? I have a BMi of 36 and I know I will come off slower just looking for some input.
  12. I am on day 2 of full liquids. It is not awful but at times I feel tired and weak. Does it get worse before it gets better? When I have the low fat cream soups I feel great for a couple hours any other suggestions? Does it get easier?

    Boy did I mess up!

I am also a type 2 diabetic my surgery is scheduled for 1/8 I was hoping to not need any meds after surgery. Do u still need insulin or any meds after your surgery? Please don't let the slip up keep you from reaching your goal. You can do this!!!!
  14. I start my pre op diet on 12/26 also. I know the big picture is so worth it but I can't help but think I can't stick to a diet normally how can I stick to something so strict. I think through this journey I need to find faith in myself. I am so strong in so many ways but my weight has a hold on me. I look forward to breaking free.
  15. My surg date is Jan 8th. I am so excited but scared at the same time. I guess I am afraid of failure. I can not stick to a diet so how will I keep the weight off 10 years from now. I am glad the surgery group I am going to has support groups.
