    On theDr.s show the GYN that is on there said to use organic coconut oil. She said it doesn't break down like regular lubes do.

  4. WTH? Protein protein protein!!! Eat every couple of hours if you need to. Just make sure it is protein. Stay away from fast food. It will eventualy kill you even if you are sleeved. You can puree any meat with a sauce or light gravy. Go to the site the worldaccordingto eggface.com. She has great suggestions and recipes for every stage. Good luck and remember protien first before anything. That helps curb your appetite.

  11. I had the biopsy as well while having my VSG. It is to see how fatty your liver is. The surgeon said that mine was great on 10%fat thank god. I also had biopsy of my stomach when they did the EGD. I was told that both are standard practice for my Dr. I had a little pain in the area for about a week it got better over time. Good luck. Oh one more thing WELCOME to the sleeve side!

  14. I am having same issue with the cholesterol. Dr took me off of meds and told me to take fish oil. I have done everything by the book anf guess what cholesterol and triglicerides very. What gives getting healthy excersising. Got put back on meds again.
  15. Tina, I really dont know what to tell you lol. What I can say is my dr. cut my deductable in half so I could get my surgery. There are a lot of doctors in Texas that will do that. Have you had any slippage or problems with the band? What about high cholesterol, sleep apnea, asthma? There are alot of health problems from being overweight. Bladder problems, varicose veins? Just to name a few. Good luck! I would if I were you fight fire with fire lol.
  16. Forsure! You really do look great. How much total weight have you lost so far? I think we were sleeved around the same time. As of today I have lost 47lbs. Ive had quite a few stalls but I dont let it bother me.I am just soo happy everything is going better for you and your family. I believe now you can finally enjoy and keep rockin that sleeve:-).

  19. I am glad you read the complications threads. It is important to know what could happen and what signs to look for after your surgery. Please remember complications is only about 5% as fiddleman said. Congratulations on your approval. This is the BEST thing I ever did for myself and family.

  21. Im here too. Lol. Im live in Ft. Worth area. This experiance with the sleeve has been great so far. Im 3 1/2 months out. Ive lost 46 lbs so far, cant wait till I hit goal. I have hit a stall for about the last 3 weeks but Im sure I will start losing again after my body catches up. Anywho, Welcome to our forum, we are hear to help and answer any questions you might have. Oh one more thing, there are alot of Texans here on this site :-)
