  1. Hello to everyone, I hope that your journeys are going smoothly. I am scheduled to get my sleeve on January 2nd and am so excited! I had my EGD yesterday and it all went smoothly, In fact I don't remember a thing about the procedure itself. I also had an Echocardiogram, pulmonary tests and a stress test yesterday too. I guess that all that is left is to start this new journey and get on to my new lifestyle! I wish you all the best of luck and can't wait to get to know you all better!
  2. Congratulations on your new sleeve!
  3. Congratulations on the good news!

  6. I am scheduled for the 2nd as well and starting to get very nervous as well. It is a big change and will mean a lot of work, but the benefits are going to so out way everything else, even the nerves. Good luck a week from now!

  8. January 2nd here too. It's just around the corner!
  9. I am going to tell, but not until I have already had the surgery. I don't want people trying to talk me out of this. The only people who know so far are my mom and dad, husband and best friend. I plan to tell others afterwards so that they don't ask a ton of questions that I have to half truth about. I think it is a very personal choice and you just have to do what is best for you and your situation.
  10. Good luck tomorrow! Can't wait to here how you are doing! I'm sure everything will be just fine, and it sounds like you are having very normal feelings about such a big change.
  11. An easy way to get rid of the foam is to put 2-3 drops of baby anit gas drops in your shake. It breaks up the bubbles just like it would in your stomach.
  12. Just 2 days after me. It is sneaking up quick isn't it!
  13. Ok, so it probably varies quite a bit from surgeon to surgeon. I don't have a diet, I was just told nothing but clear liquids from noon till midnight the day before surgery.

  17. I am doing this all self pay, so it has been alot quicker of a journey. In fact, the speed has somewhat surprised me.
