Meat not so much - ughh
Is the gravy made with oil? Is the meat lean? I had the same problem in the beginning if I ate anything with too much grease or sugar. Sent from my iPhone using VST

how much walking?
My doctor advised me to walk as much as I could every 2 hours after surgery. Once I came home my husband and I would go to the outlet mall or the strand and walk for a couple of hours each day. I had a very easy recovery. Sent from my iPhone using VST

Beautiful! You don't even look like the same person!! Sent from my iPhone using VST- 3 years ago today I had the VSG...
It's so awesome to hear from someone 3 years out! You look absolutely amazing! Thank you for sharing your experience and happy surgiversarry!! Sent from my iPhone using VST- Pleasa tell me eventually i can eat more than meatball?!?!?
Actually, at three weeks out, a meatball is probably really heavy for you. They usually have bread crumbs in them so I can see only being able to eat one. Sent from my iPhone using VST- Before and After Pics
BEAUTIFUL!! Sent from my iPhone using VST- All of my December sleevers...
Hi! My restriction is still pretty good too. Dense meats like steak, chicken, pork and shrimp I can do 3-4oz. Ground beef, fish and crab about 2-3oz. I still mostly stick to protein and 2-4 bites of veggies but every once in a while I might sneak in a couple of bites of potatoes or pasta. I have 14 pounds to go until I meet my personal goal. 4 pounds to meet my Drs goal and am LOVING my sleeve. Sent from my iPhone using VST- Need Advice Please!
I only have 14 pounds to go until my goal and am having a HARD time getting it off. I have had a TON of stress in my life in the last month that I think is keeping my weight from coming off. Not normal stress but REALLY REALLY life altering stuff. I usually stick to my Protein first and some veggies after if I can fit them in but since this has come up, I've been "allowing myself to cheat". Like have some potatoes or Pasta. I know it's NOT ok. But this is such a HUGE thing and it's really rocked my entire world and that of my children. I want to make it to goal soon. But this has really thrown me for a loop. I would appreciate anything anyone has to say. I need help to get there. Sent from my iPhone using VST- Progress at 2.5 months with pics.

GORGEOUS!!!! Sent from my iPhone using VST- Water question
I am probably one of the few that haven't had a problem drinking. In the very beginning I had to take it easy but very soon after I was able to drink normal. I use a straw and always have (my Dr. said it was fine) and I can take a food 4 or 5 gulps at a time. Sent from my iPhone using VST- i'm now my dogs bff

I'm so happy for you!! Just remember, the first part of this journey is the hardest. After that it's all uphill. For me, it was the best thing I ever did for myself and I hope you end up feeling the same! Right now concentrate on fluids and walk walk walk. It helps get rid of the gas and swelling. Good luck on your new journey!! Sent from my iPhone using VST- i'm now my dogs bff

Ok, if we're posting pictures of our babies I have to chime in. I was allergic to dogs all of my life until 2 years ago so this is my first dog ever and she is definitely our spoiled little baby. She's Chihuahua and Daushound (Chiweenie). Sent from my iPhone using VST- McDonalds
I actually went there last week thinking they still had their angus burgers and I could get one if those bunless and be ok. Um, NO! They don't have them anymore. So I got the home style burger bunless. I ended up having the runs (sorry, probably tmi) several times. NEVER doing that again. Sent from my iPhone using VST- I finally get it; I have to live without carbs.
I also have to limit my carbs. If I have carbs other than veggies I don't lose weight. I just have 14 pounds to get to goal and it's taking forever because I LOVE potatoes and must stay away from them to get to goal. I'm just going to have to buckle down and stay away.
