Thanks fellers. Time is inching ever so closer!!! Did the surgery effect any of you psychologically or emotionally? Like get depressed or isolated? I've never been that way ever but for some reason I'm fearing this happening.

So dang nervous I can't think straight!!!!!! Don't know if I can go through with this or not!!!! I need it bad but I'm just so worried about complications!!! Waiting on the hospital to call and tell me when to be there tomorrow!!!!!

So its hard at first then gets fairly back to normal?? I'm very ready to lose the weight but this is a big change!!!

I'm really trying to relax. Its just the permanent ness of the whole thing!!! If something doesn't go right then I'm stuck with it the rest of my life!!!!! We'll see tomorrow around 8:30am!!! -

No, I'm not going to put it off. I'm all in now, just nervous with the "what ifs". Hopefully this time tomorrow I'll be up walking and getting acquainted with my smaller stomach!!! Wish me luck everybody and I wouldn't turn away a prayer either!!!! -
They told me around 10 am but I'm shooting for about 9 so hopefully the storm will have passed by sleep time.

My surgery is scheduled for Thursday and my surgeon told me he will use a 40 on me. Says its really surgeons preference but he's found that there are less problems when the bigger one is used and the weight loss is the same.

I just love when people drop hints and "good spirited" jokes about me being fat. Ding ding ding ding!!!!!!! Thank you SO much for pointing out Tue extremely obvious!!!! I knew there was something wrong hut I just couldn't out my finger on it!!!! Thanks for being first on the scene and breaking the story!!!!!! Idiots.......

My surgery is Thursday (March 21) and like you all I am VERY nervous and scared of possible complications but like my surgeon said, it's by far less risky than doing nothing!!! I don't want to leave my wife and 2 babies!!! -

Ok, I'm so beating a dead horse but today I have my last preop dr visit with sx scheduled for March 21. I have had a MASSIVE resurgence of fear!!!!! Will I be able to adjust to the new life?? What if this and what if that??? Very unsure and scared right now!!!!! I guess I just want to know if its worth it. Plain and simple.

No, there is no pressure. I LOVE hearing people say what a good experience they had. It gives me hope and eases my fears a bit. I'm sure most of us have the same fears, dreads, etc. Mine are how will it change me? Will I be able to handle the changes? Will it hurt? What about long term complications? Things like these keep bouncing around in my noggin!!

Yea I know. I've rehearsed it all over and over again and the logic is there but its just the surreal feeling I get when I know that this is a PERMANENT thing!!! If it was reversible I would be so pumped and ready still.
