Wow, you guys are great but I can't even go back until after the first of the year when I have my first post-op appointment! I also don't think I could yet either...my stomach still hurts and 2 days at work and I'd be soo dehydrated!

Im waiting for that person who went on a rant about smoking to pop up and give lectures. ................. And..... They have electronic cigarrettes called blu, avail in drug stores. I never smoked cigs or pot so my addiction isnt severe. Good luck ladies
I know but they're just not as satisfying and some of them still have all the bad stuff in em! lol

3.) Having dreams about smoking cigarettes are better dreams than the ones I have about sex. I miss smoking more than I miss food.
I really miss smoking...it would make this whole thing a lot easier to deal with! If they came out tomorrow with a cig that isn't bad for you, I'd fight my way to the front of the line! lol

I confess...
1. that I like this thread a lot!
2. that I am afraid of what I will look like when I am thin
3. that I may not need to worry about number two ever happening! lol
4. that I was totally out of control (binging) before surgery but am glad I have behaved since!
5. that I am worried my husband (who isn't fat) will never get his butt out of his chair to do things with me.
6. that I am really happy I found this site

I was sleeved 12-11 and am doing good. I am getting at least 3 15 Gm Protein Drinks in and sipping Soups too but Water is still pretty rough going down. I'm down 16 lbs since surgery. Is anyone else still having pain, like the internal abdominal pain?

Wow, you look amazing and that smile in your newest pic just seems to go deeper! This is so awesome for me to see, especially because I am only one week out and your starting weight is close to mine! Congrat's on such a big success!

I think that's great, I have heard of a few others doing this together as well! How wonderful to be able to take the journey with someone! I myself am a little nervous of how this is going to work with my husband. He is not obese but has a very low activity level and I don't think he's going to want to 'change' with me because he doesn't need to?

My doc told me no earlier than 18 months but he also said that it would be best to wait until I was completely done losing weight and at goal for a while.

I have had a few of those uh oh moments when feeding or getting food ready for my son, I'll be ready to lick or take a bite and I'm like oh no, I can't do that. It's crazy what a habit food can be sometimes! Good luck with the cream soups! I had butternut squash Soup and just that different flavor felt really good.

Well, I guess they can also mean support hose and you can buy those anywhere. Basically they are reall tight stockings to reduceswelling.

compression stockings were provided at the hospital and I wore them before and after. These are not something you come home with, they basically wrap around your calf's and inflate and deflate continually to help promote circulation and prrevent blood clots.

Congratulations! I love hearing about NSV's, they are so different for everyone and they are truly the reasons we made this change! Numbers only mean so much, it's important how wefeel!

Wow, congrat's! I love seeing these posts, so inspirational and it makes me excited to think about being there someday!

juice is a no no right after surgery, it's way too sugary. Everything on my diets is low sugar/sugar free. I also wasn't able to drink anything at all the day of surgery but that depends on the physician.

I'm only a week out and I am freezing all the time! I used to always make my hubby turn down the temp and now I'm begging him to turn it up! lol I even wore a thick robe over sweats and a long sleeve shirt today (thermostat at 72)!
