I also have to say that you took my message way too serious and that your fat for a reason hun.
Really? I am honestly so disappointed with where this thread has taken people. You would think you could come to a website like this to get support and have conversations and I would also think it's the last place that I would have to worry about being called fat and someone rubbing it in that it's my fault I'm fat for whatever reason. You should be ashamed of this comment...it is just beyond rude.

Thank you.... I appreciate it. Eating a donut does not make me unhealthy it makes me human...
I'll eat a chesseburger right along with you...someday (only 5 weeks out) I am not big on complete deprivation as I have found in the past that it only spurs bingeing and such!

Wow, you look great...just losing weight everywhere!

I love yard sales!

I think that with a trip I would want some clothes that fit. You can always try clearance racks, discount stores like tj max and marshall's, or my all-time favorite is goodwill. I have plenty of clothes from before, so I have been very lucky.

Congrat's, I can definitely see it! I am 43 pounds down and it is crazy how much difference there is...maybe we see it because it happened so fast?

I personally think that everyone is different...if you are tolerating it then I don't see a problem. I personally have a problem because I can't just sit and sip all day...I have a 2 y/o who wants what I have and also a job where I am busy and on the move a lot so I can't just keep something in front of me all the time. When I do have those moments, I can drink fairly fast too.

I think that those two things are definitely on your side. 4 years of being that big plus only being 26, I think that you have pretty good chances of your skin coming back. I am unfortunately not so lucky, at 32 y/o and being big forever I can already see that I am going to need plastics.

wow, you're looking so skinny! Cpngrats!

Well, now you don't have to wait for almost 2 years after surgery! Congratulations!
-
I am only 5 weeks out and other than a few moments immeditely after surgery I have not regretted it! At 5 weeks out, I have lost 40 pounds and that 40 pound loss has free'd me in so many ways! I can only imagine what a year can do! My breathing/activity tolerance and sleeping are so much better already. I'm very happy and looking forward to the next year.

I opted for the sleeve over the band because I also think having a foreign object in your body is just asking for something bad to happen. The adjustments and frequent office visits were another negative for me. There are a lot of people on here who have had the sleeve after the band failed too. Good luck in whatever you decide!

Congratulations! You are very close to my start weight and you weigh very close to my goal, so exciting to see it has happened for someone else!

congratulations...and 14 is awesome!

I found one in my basement! lol Hmmm, my best purchase...I don't think I have bought it yet! lol

Well congrat's on the weight loss first and foremost and then congrat's on putting yourself out there and dating! You look great and you should be confident and proud of yourself! Glad it went well too.

I would call and check with doc's before you head back. A lot of people have had problems finding aftercare after having surgery elsewhere.
-
Congratulations, you look absolutely amazing!

I did love curves when I was younger but I need daycare to be able to go more than 2 times a week!

You look great, good luck to you!

I had surgery on the 11th and I have felt that a lot since surgery...I always have something to drink but I get it, it doesn't always help.

I think it's great that some of you are strong enough never to eat 'unhealthy' again but this is not true for all of us and is not cause for the type of judgement that is being passed. I do plan on enjoying some unhealthy foods because to enjoy in moderation for me allows me a somewhat 'normal' lifestyle and I don't want to give that up. I am not too surprised that Dianne responded so negatively to many of you because the responses to her honest post were rude and sarcastic. This thread really has me disappointed, no offense meant to op...it just got taken to a bad place.
