  10. I don't know...this doesn't seem very reasonable to me but I guess a lot of it depends on your level of restriction. I am only able to eat about 2 ounces at a time, so 3 meals and no protein supplements just doesn't work for me. My nut even said that I need to set an alarm on my phone to eat every 2 hours or so, which would put me at maybe 6 meals a day? I think it also depends on the person and how they feel post-op. I am not really big on eating anymore, nothing tastes the same and I am slightly afraid of trying new foods. I have not been a limit or sleeve tester at all. I say try the doc's way and if you are having negative effects or not losing then try your own?

  13. Yay, congrat's to you! I am about 20 pounds away from that feeling! lol
  14. I have to say that pretty much everything I do is just a little better/easier now! I can easily walk my stairs now, no heavy breathing at the top holding my chest anymore! I can get in and out of my vehicle more easily and buckling up is no longer strangling my poor neck! I can bend down to tie my shoes. I leave a 12 hour shift at work without the horrible leg/back pain (still worn out because it is a long shift to be active). Hmmm, I know there are more. I love knowing that I will go into my room and find something that fits...or if it doesn't that everything is too big! I can now carry/hold my son for more than 2 minutes! I can play with my 2y/o for more than 5 minutes now. I love howmuch easier it is to just move, I have better range of motion and I just feel better!

    Gratitude Post

I am almost 11 weeks and down 66 pounds. I love being able to play with my son, using stairs and still breathing at the top, and so many more things! I am loving it!
  17. Congrat's to the OP on the weight loss and the pregnancy! I love to hear this kind of thing. I consider my goal to be fairly high right now but I will reassess how I feel when I get there. It is kind of hard to pick a goal when you have never been that small before! lol I am looking forward to living a healthy and active lifestyle with all the same treats as before in smaller amounts and less frequency!

    Healthy Addictions

My healthier addiction? My son, I really want to be an active person in his life and I want us to become more active together! We are moving to a nice new neighborhood with a few parks and we will have a pool at home, so looking forward to this!
  19. Nice...look how much room is there now! I also love that the seatbelts are no longer strangling me...plenty of wiggle room these days!
  20. I am freezing alllll the time and right now it kind of stinks...February in Michigan and all! I really can't wait for summer though, it's usually so hot out that I can't function...now I just want to be in the sun on an 80 degree day! I was even freezing after cleaning on Sunday...wierdest feeling ever! lol
  21. It is so much more uncomfortable for you than it is the staff! Menstruation is definitely one of the easier things to handle!

    Best Friend Help

I have an obese friend as well who thought I should just do weight watchers again. I just had to come out and tell her that she doesn't know what it's like for me and I am doing what I need to do. She has been overweight her whole life as well but never as big as I was. I have had to explain to a few people...no one knows what it was like for me, my sisters have been my weight but not my size and have also never carried their weight like me. Sometimes you just have to tell people that this is my plan and I really would like you to support me through this. I know it's hard but good luck!

    All of my December sleevers...

I am really surprised by all the doctor's goals. My doctor has never given me any type of weight loss goals or guidelines. I asked about it and they said they don't do it.
