Well my older sister had the lap band 5 years ago and since then my family (parents mainly) have been telling me to consider doing weight loss surgery. I had always felt happy with my weight up until about a year ago right after I had my soon I started gaining more weight that I did when I was pregnant and thats when it all started. To make a long story short. I just had surgery on December 4, 2012 in Tijuana with Dr. Ariel Ortiz. I must admit I feel GREAT. I've had an amazing recovery and so far everything has felt good. PreOp Diet was good and PostOp diet has been going good. I will say it has been the best decision I ever made and I do not regret it one bit. Now I just have to wait to drop the weight. Weight before considering surgery 327lbs.....after preop diet 311lbs......8days postop weight 302lbs.
