  1. I'm 3 months out from my surgery. I'm still at time experiencing gas pain. It's not from eating to fast. I feel like I'm just swallowing air. Is this usual? I guess when I'm breathing through my mouth.
  2. I think people are commenting about your friendship. You said you were close. And that she was at your wedding. Certain things you try to treasure, true friendship is one. Otheres were trying to encourage you that it won't be that difficult to attend after surgery. Then everyone realized you didn't want encouragement. You simply wanted a good lie. Some people can't support that.
  3. I don't understand why you should lie. Like someone else said if they're good friends then explain. I was back to work before 2 wks. Anything is possible. You could go for the ceremony and then leave before the reception. It's how important your relationship is to you.

  8. Am I normal? I was sleeved nov. 14th. When I started the whole process in September I weighed 292. At the time of surgery 262. Now I'm at 229lbs. I keep seeing these huge numbers from others after surgery. It gets a little frustrating. And I second guess myself.

    What are you eating? Sometimes it's hard having "good" protein around. I fall off and get back on. Everyday it's a struggle to eat right. But I keep moving forward.

    Protein is the key for me in running half marathons. I have protein before and during the run. A little carbs in before the race.

    Try without the incline. Build up to doing intervals. I've been running for 3 yrs in my big body. Looking forward to running leaner. But you do have to start slow.:0)
  15. Try to stay away from carbs. And stick more to protein. Try that for a while and see what happens. That's what I had to do

    What I like to know is mason at all a person who had surgery? Does he have weight issues? I really don't care how many degrees or if you have a phd. You don't know the experience of all people with weight issues unless you walk in their shoes. Everyone who is fat are not fat because they have mental issues.

    Instead of increasing your calories for cardio. Drink protein shakes for recovery. My personal trainer and dr suggested this. If you increase calories your just burning off that instead of your excess weight
  18. I had that happen one time. And learned never to eat that again. Now from time to time I get nauseas or throw up because I either ate to fast or to much. I was sleeved nov-2012
