I was sleeved on the 5th as well and down 40 pounds. I just got out of the hospital Friday; I was dehydrated.

Yes, I am at a stall as well. Sleeved in 12/5 with starting weight of 293 and now been at 259 for over a week

I am now 10 days post op and just now experiencing nausea. I am still on a clear liquid diet, so I am not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Hi there! I really hate to hear that you are doubting your decision????. What kind of work do you do? I was sleeved on 12/5, so I am a week post op today????????????. The first few days were really miserable for me too; however, I stay in the hospital for 2 nights. My dr has me on only clear liquids for these 1st 2 weeks, so it had been really easy to keep things down, but it has not been easy to make sure that I am getting enough liquids. I truly understand your pain, as I still don't feel like I could go back to work yet. Just take it easy and give yourself time to heal. I am not sure when I will be going back at this point. It is getting much easier day by day, so I believe that you will feel different in a few days.

I started having a lot of numbness in my legs last night. Today begins my 6th day post op, and all i have had so far are clear liquids (mainly water and popsicles). Did anyone else experience this?

I just called and he wants me to go ahead and start on some vitamins and power aid zero today. Since I have only really been doing water and sf popsicles. He advised if nothing changes then I will need to come in tomorrow.

Omg!!! Why does he keep eating in front of me?? I was recently sleeved on 12/5, so I am on a clear liquid diet. These wonderful smells are killing me. I would really like for him to be more sensitive to my situation. STOP EATING IN FRONT OF ME!!!!!!!

That is awesome!!!! It has really helped me out as well. You can really find some encouraging people on here to help you along this journey.

Yes, they are all different. I will be on clear liquids until my 2 week follow up on the 17th.

I agree that we have to spell some things out to them. I have asked but not in those words. Tonight I said, "I guess you don't feel my pain and understand what I am going through." His response was, "uh".. Like WTF!!! So I said, " we'll, I guess that means no." He said he does, so when our little girl goes to bed, I guess we will discuss this more.

I am in my recliner now bcuz my bed was not working for me tonight. I am having a few concerns abt one of my incisions, so I will be on the phone with the dr bright and early. Just make sure you are taking it easy. I am still on liquids too. That has been pretty tough while sitting back and watching my family eat, but it will all pay off In the end. Where are u Sarah??

Hi everyone!! I am from Monroe LA, but Shreveport was the closest with my insurance. Dr. Barnes sleeved me on 12/5. I am still in some pain when it comes to getting up and down, and the gas pains are not all that great. I love him though, and the nurses there are really sweet too. I am so happy that I did this and can't wait to see some awesome results.

I had my surgery on dec 5th as well. I was only asked to do a one day pre op liquid diet also. I am having pains when drinking anything too. I just assumed it is gas or swelling

Today is my first full day home. I had my surgery Wednesday and couldn't be more happy to be out of the hospital.

Thank you. I just took some pain meds and now laying down for a quick nap...hopefully

A little sore and everyone is correct..the gas bubbles are the worst
