I started having a lot of numbness in my legs last night. Today begins my 6th day post op, and all i have had so far are clear liquids (mainly water and popsicles). Did anyone else experience this?

No. It may be something as simple as you sleeping wrong and pinching something.

I would highly recommend that you monitor this situation very, very carefully as there is a very real chance you could have something like a blood clot that lodged in a major artery.

Is there any coldness to the limbs? And obvious bruising?

I would check with the doctor immediate if the symptoms persist mare than just a few hours.

I would encourage you to address with your surgeon's office. Numbness is never a good thing. And the fact that you are only 6 days post-op could indicate a possible blood clot, etc. Please don't mess around with that....

I just called and he wants me to go ahead and start on some vitamins and power aid zero today. Since I have only really been doing water and sf popsicles. He advised if nothing changes then I will need to come in tomorrow.
