I am sooooooooo hungry. I wasn't this hungry before surgery. It's giving md a headache I'm so hungry

I did bad today. I ate the soup and a piece of meat. I was really hungry. Even tho it sent me directly to the bathroom but I had to eat something

I'm on full liquids and I'm currently eating cream of chicken. The protein shakes don't sit to we'll I. The stomach. I drink one I the morning then I get the rest in my soup with unflavored powder

I was wondering the same thing. My belly button looks right it is opening. It doesn't hurt nor is it bleeding but I don't want it to get infected

GM I have the same pain but mine is on the left side. I called the doctor and he said it was gas. He told me to take gas x and let it out every time I get a chance. Mine hurts when In bed or trying to roll over or trying to get up from relax mode. The gas x works and at night he said to take some of your pain Meds. It will eventually go away or ease up has you let the gas out.

I would like to know he same. I am on day 3 but I am getting my protein(50grams) 64oz of fluid in which I add unflavored protein to about 16oz I walk on the treadmill for an hr and up and down 3 flights of stairs. As for food I have have been eating cream of chicken, cream of mushrooms, cream of broccoli and so on. Also sc Popsicles and sf puddin (I added protei. To that also. I'm trying to eat 5 times a day but its hard I do get a good 3 In tho. I'm ones full liquids is this okay? I feel like it is but I don really know. I don't feel full anytime at any time. No pain just soreness around the belly button. I haven't been out of breath or anything. I am nervous that I can eat all of this and still not be full. Any suggestions and what to stop or what to start or not do?????

Thanks everyone. I honestly feel fine. I'm heading to the gym now to do my lil walking. Woke up with no pain. I am wondering will it come after I take the onQ ball out? Applesauce with unflavored protein for breakfast. ( I thought applesauce was to much but the gave it to md on my last day in the hospital).............,I just to say thanks to you all,I felt extremely knowledgable going into surgery and from here it can only get better

Well I'm on day 3 and today I did a mile on the treadmill at 1.5 baby steps but I did it. No pain I actually felt like I could have up'ed the speed but didn't want to push my limits. Tomorrow I will do a mile and half at 2.0 speed. So all in all it depends YOUR body

Also when I sip it doesn't have to be small

Honestly I would just continue on with life. I understand that you feel bad about it but like you stated he was open and he just might share it with his wife, and females will be females. And when the weight starts to drop IF he say something just simply tell him that some weight loss was expected and you started back on a diet. No details needed. At the end of the day it's not your boss that you are worried about its his wife and out of concern (nosey) she might ask we're you are, and because its general he might say she is out because of a surgery. See just that simple the wife will simply start asking questions. But you can't answer them if you don't have answers. Then has time goes by and the you notice there is no rumors you can always tell him. Just my opinion I'm a private person and my boss asked me 1000000 times and I just told her a stomach tumor.

Yes I have Aetna it took them 8 days to approve I submitted 10/31 and was approved 11/08 them they wanted me to have the surgery on the 19 of nov but they were moving to fast for me so 12/12/12 is my date

Aetna is fast so should hear back with no later then we'd and sleeved with the next three weeks

Question. So I am on the pre op diet I am only allowed to have the optifast that was given to me. So for the day I am allowed 4 shakes a bar and a soup but then I can have up to 3 SF Jell-O’s and # SF popsicles. Here is the problem even on my 8th day I am still hungry I tried the extra water drinking but it didn’t help. So after reading I decided to make my own chicken broth. I use a low sodium base broth a few seasons and ¼ flour just to make it not like water. I drink like a cup of that and I am fine. Do you think I won’t be able to have my Sleeve? They told me that the diet was to shrink my liver I don’t see the problem what’s your thoughts
