    Any january surgery out there

Be careful.. Let your your surgical wound heal. What happened to you inside is bigger than it looks on the outside!!! Stay hydrated too.. sips all day!! You should not lift or pull over 10 Lbs for 6 weeks. Do NOT take chances...Good Luck and take care!!

    I hate this surgery.

Head hunger!! I know what you are talking about. I am thinking that is what got me in a bad way!! I think the challenge is adapting to my new lifestyle and take that energy to a different level. What that is... I am figuring out! Life is what we make it, so... I want to be healthy and what I eat is what I am...Lol

    How does yours feel?

Give it time. I want to say day 6 things got easier. Today, I was out doing errands and got real fatigued! Stopped at a smoothie store and got a high protein low carb smoothie. It was vanilla with bannana and protein powder, it helped sooo much!! I can not wait until my menu gets easier, I sip on water all day but, need to pack yougart and protein drinks in a small cooler bag!! Time gets away when you are out.

    I hate this surgery.

Frustration is gotta be part of it all!! You got to give it time... This is not a hurry up deal. Give your body time to heal and give yourself a pat on your back! You can do this... call your dietician and physician for advice!! Good Luck.

Do you really need a hospital buddy?

I had my husband the day of surgery. But the next two days he went to work. Nurses were very helpful. The 1st night is the worse. My hubby would come an hr or so after work to see, then went home to take care of kids. You will be fine!! Best of luck. Take care
