  1. I'm waiting to say how much I've lost. My parents scale is registering a number that I'm not sure if I trust. How's the diet?
  2. I am having pain in the lower upper back region. Could be my lower lung. My follow up appointment isn't till Tuesday. Anyone had this before?
  3. 1/2 cup cottage cheese went down smoothly for me too. From what I've heard restriction starts for solids
  4. I'll keep you in my prayers. Please let us know how you're doing. Everything will go great : )
  5. I'm in! Weight day of surgery 11/26: 302.5 I'm not sure i trust what my scale is registering as my current weight. I'll double check and post! Goal by 12/25: 275
  6. That's great to hear. I was getting a little concerned lol
  7. Cottage cheese went down great, I am now soooo full. Like I feel extra full. Once again dinner is skipped : ( oh well. I'm trying my protein with a half a banana tomorrow. Maybe I'll walk to the store and buy different protein? Lol who knows.
  8. Yeah, I'm not full at all. Well, overly so. Well, now I'm full. I feel as though my hunger is returning. As the days to by i am feeling it more. This sucks. Maybe I should stay away from cottage cheese. Seems like a slider
  9. So cottage cheese for dinner. I'm almost 4oz in, a half cup. And not full... When to stop?
  10. Didn't menstrating the day of suck? Happened to me too : ) I'm curious for the answer to this as well
  11. I'm gonna try a new protein. 1/2 c is all I can stand of mine
  12. What's yours? I'm sipping on 0 cal Powerade fruit punch diluted with Water YUM!!!
  13. I know what you mean. If I hadn't run into so many problems trying to get time off from work, not that many people would know. Having HR tell me that it's an "elective and unnecessary surgery" prompted me to move past them and go directly to supervisors, managers, and general managers. All of whom petitioned for my time. Otherwise it would have been just close family and like 4 friends. People always hate, it's human nature. So why put yourself out there to receive that? I'll be happy to say I had WLS when I'm at goal. But while I'm still struggling to learn about myself and my new anatomy, I'm on "a diet and exercise"
  14. Had mine 11/26 I am barely beginning to be able to roll on my side with a pillow underneath. It'll get better
  15. Tell them you ate something bad the night before and have had the runs ever since. That you wanna take it easy so nothing too heavy. If they push you to eat, play with it for a few minutes, then excuse your self and go to the rest room. Hang out there for 5-10 and come back and say you think your stomach is acting up so you'll stick to Gatorade.
  16. I was just about to start a thread for a similar problem. I'm 6 days out and can drink a cup of miso broth no problem. Water is easy too, protein is the only thing that gets stuck
  17. Drink water too. Lots and lots of water. It will help some.
  18. I can't wait for that to happen to me!!! Congratulations
  19. I'm doing a multi, Vitamins b1, b12, d3, Biotin, calcium citrate. Seems like a lot lol but that's my required ones.
  20. Oh! Vitamin D. I have drops to supplement the upcal d and my multi. You could get pills cheap at a CVS or Walgreens.
  21. 2 kinds of calcium citrate? I'm taking 3 packets of upcal d a day after the 2 weeks mark. I wonder why 2 different kinds. Did she say?
