  1. I have upcal d in single packets : D everything from my multi down to Biotin is in microlingual, liquid, or powder form. I told my NUT that until I feel comfortable, I'm not taking pills. And she said its personal preference. Doesn't matter how ya get it as long as you do
  2. I'm not really taking the Pepcid much either. Same boat as you, not having the symptoms so why take?
  3. I'm suppose to take Pepcid! I put them in a shot glass with like a tablespoon of water. Wait like 15 minutes, stir, and knock it back. I'm really scared of pills. My vitamins are all liquid. But even at the hospital the nurses laughed cuz I just wouldn't take the tablet without dissolving it first.
  4. I stopped taking pain meds 4 days ago, you think I'd be safe to drive? I'm 6 days out
  5. I'm bored at home too. Nothing to do, can't walk cuz of the rain. I'm not trying to catch a cold. So I'm mainly indoors. Is anyone driving yet?
  6. I'm back to work 12/12. Kaiser releases you from the hospital on all liquids. So I was on clears for 2 days. And now I'm all liquid and that includes yogurt and cottage cheese. It's just not sitting well. A favorite of mine is miso broth. I'm trying to stick to the meal plan with 3 meals a day but the miso tempts me so much! It's 20 cals a cup so not bad. But I shouldn't be eating between meals. My NUT said grazing is a bad habit to get into so early. I guess all doctors are different. Everyone has their own plan
  7. My extreme gas from last night will make me stick to soup, protein, and applesauce. Cheese can wait
  8. Story of my life! I was sleeved 11/26 as well. I find that water and/or protein helps. I haven't been able to figure out what it's from though.
  9. Did you feel it at all? Like, did you feel tipsy or anything?
  10. The carbonation will cause you a lot of pain.
  11. I can't sleep anymore. Pre-sleeve it wasn't this bad but now a days I sleep like 2 hours! Any advice?
  12. Awesome!!! I was going to ask my surgeon to take a picture of my stomach that was removed but I was put under before I had the chance : ( would've been cool to see!
  13. : ( no miso broth for dinner then. I'll be better tomorrow. For now I'm in bed flat on my back hoping that helps
  14. I did manage to get down a lot of water, about 9 oz in 4 hours. Maybe I over did it
  15. Free bump. I am interested as well
  16. I ate half an ounce of cheese 5 HOURS AGO. Yes, I am 4 days post op. but soft liquidy cheese was okay by NUT. I feel sooooo full. Like I want to throw everything back up just for some relief. Wtf. Someone help me figure out what's going on plz. I'm about ready to make myself puke that's how bad it is.
  17. Yeah, I know. But my dad is just trying to help. The cheese is soft enough that my NUT said it was fine but still. I'll be switching to cottage cheese though. That stuff is amazing too lol
  18. My current... "Thing" of 8 years told me we weren't official because I was fat. His words not mine. Funny thing is, and it took me a few years to really see this, not everyone is a ... Butt face like that. But... I am still with my "thing" it's hard to leave, so I feel your pain. Do this for yourself and for no one else. When you start to feel better about you you'll really see that he's not all that there is out there for you.
  19. I wake up dizzy and feeling so out of it. So I drink water and it seems to help. My NUT told me that dehydration is the top reason why people end up back at the hospital. Water water water as much as you can. It does get better. I went from a 1/4 tsp sip to a tablespoon sip. So I'm pretty happy. Plus I finally smiled for the first time since surgery yesterday. : D
  20. SSF KAISER HERE!!! Lol, and I thought I was the only one... ; ) I was sleeved this past Monday 11/26 by Dr. Robert Li. He was awesome and just seemed so on his game when he came to talk to me 30 minutes before surgery. He's been awesome to work with. Very professional A+++ I have my follow up with Dr. Khayat. From my pre op appointment I was told that Drs David Lee and Khayat have a similar surgery style but Dr Robert Li's is a little different.
  21. Perhaps the cheese is pushing it. But it's soooo tasty! I think I'll switch over to non fat cottage cheese. My surgeon bumped me up to all liquid (which includes yogurt and cottage cheese) when I left the hospital. The cheese is the only exception I've made given that my dad is looking at me as though I'm a weirdo for eating 2 bites and done.
