  1. Ok day three in the books. Much less pain today. I'm down to taking a 1/2 of a 10/325 norco for pain. A whole one makes me sleepy. Walking is better today too. Still bent over but better. My back is sore from walking hunched over and most of the other pain is burning from the Lipo. My breasts don't hurt at all. Sent from my iPhone using VST

Hi! Are you getting this in us or Mexico? Had my consult with dr.s in Mexico. Now I just need to pull the trigger for a date. Just freaked out ????

  2. I did go alone' date=' and my own fears were unfounded. Lol. There are other people having surgeries within the time you are there. It is easy to spot in the mornings going down for breakfast.... The ones that are slow, stiff, bandaged or carrying drains. Lol. Everyone is so friendly. So connecting is so nice. I would have no fears of going alone again. You are safe and well taken care of. Monterrey is not the stereotypical part of Mexico you often think of. The area you are in is clean, upper class type area. Large houses, large hotels (bigger than my little town and cleaner. Lol), new cars, streets are clean. ... I have been to a few different places in Mexico over the past few years and I def felt the most at ease, safe and really surprised at how modern the area was.

I had connected with the dr via email.

The dr is Dr. Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico you can google him as I don't have the info on me right now. (I believe it's the medical tourism site he uses) I researched him for a good 8 months and was very happy with his reviews, the amazing work he does and of course now my results. His wife is the anesthesiologist and is very sweet. Dr S responds to all the emails and so you are getting his professional opinion right away. No middle man makes it way easier and faster to communicate directly with him.[/quote']

    Awesome! Thank you :)

  3. Thanks. So did you guys communicate via e-mail or video chat? Would you think same if you went alone? I likely could have a person with me for several days but not 12 :(

Can you provide his full name and facility? Super interested. I plan on having procedure in January or February. 10lbs to goal weight.

So glad you are happy...feels nice !!

  4. Zephyrhills.....good water' date=' trailer parks, cheap Breakfast joints, seniors, lottery winner, ....my kinda place. <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />[/quote']

Sister lives right down the street! Wesley chapel. ;). She is not happy with rain either

  5. No regrets. No complications. Only regret was not trying to understand why I eat. I am now but should have sooner. Surgery did not make my desire to TURN to food less. It makes me consume less makes me try to determine what is making me run to the fridge (thank goodness o ly sugar free Popsicles are there).

Date nite seems like a challenge some days.....but I eat so little hubby gets his faves all the time...bonus for him. :).

Down to 170. 15lbs from goal. Would have surgery again tomorrow

  6. I have had hypothyroidism for years including many years pre-surgery. It took about 4 years to get my thyroid medication right. Like you' date=' my blood work results were up one time and down the next. That has been the experience of others I know, too. So there is nothing unusual about that. I have not needed a higher dose after the surgery. Good luck. Your doctor will find the right level.[/quote']

Thanks! I have been on mess for about 18 years. First time I have had this many issues ;)
