  1. Love seeing those pics Krystal! You look great!!!...I'm 5'2 also and my surgeon said 145. I remember being 145 in my 30's and it felt good. I would love to be 125 though ...What was your starting weight before surgery? You have done so well, i'm envious
  2. This was after a good backyard brush out... minus all the hair wrapped around the bar of soap and in the washcloth! This can't go on much longer
  3. You look so cute! Way skinnier than me!!! How tall are you? Seeing the pics of your hair loss has inspired me to get a pic of mine also...LOL
  4. That's what we both should do...call our nutritionist first thing Monday! We need answers!!!
  5. How many ounces (weighed on the scale) are all of you able to do? I always thought i could eat too much too. Also, do y'all weigh or measure your ounces?
  6. I was told 4-6 oz each meal....after a year the max will be 9 oz. I have to stop snacking! My full feeling does not last long either :/ I just ate a whole chicken breast and a small corn on the cob. Meaty proteins stay with me longer than anything else. Hoping to get through the rest of the night without snacking!
  7. Krystal...please share your secret!...give us details on how you are eating and what you do for exercise. I'm open to any and all suggestions! You have done great!!! Are you on myfitnesspal? Gosh darnit! I want to be 148 too
  8. I can eat anything...never had dumping! Wish i did since that was my main reason for choosing RNY over the Sleeve! Dori...my primary care doctor said there is nothing that will stop the hair loss. It has to run it's course. She re-assured me that it will grow back. Just found out I'm post menopausal also (explains the sweating episodes) and that will cause hair loss also. I'm going to invest in a few cute hats so i don't have to look at this mess on my head :/
  9. I've lost so much hair it's pretty much just fuzz now Been doing this for about a month now! I go outside to brush it and clean my brush out. There is piles of fur balls all scattered throughout the backyard!!!
  10. My husband and I started vaping at the same time last year. He still sneaks a smoke and i can sure smell it on him when he does. Right after surgery, with the stress and all from it...I did try to smoke one but it tasted so gross! I'll stick to my cinnamon roll flavor e-liquid and continue on with vaping. Best decision i ever made besides getting rny surgery.
  11. Lots of places online. Your town may even have a vape shop. I buy a bunch of my stuff from here http://www.smoktek.com/
  12. I quit smoking tobacco a year ago. My first surgeon visit in Jan. 2013..I told them i vaped 12 mg nicotine. They never told me i had to stop that and i'm sure nicotine showed up in my blood work. I'm vaping no nicotine now
  13. Did your surgeon say he "would not" operate unless you weighed a certain amount? My bet is that he would "like" to see you weigh a certain amount. For me, i only had to do liquids for two days before surgery to shrink the liver. So i'm thinking two days is all it takes to do that???...Every doctor is different though.
  14. Don't stress...you will be fine. Kuddo's to you for waiting so long to indulge. I've certainly had my moments ...We are only human and can't expect to follow the rules each and every day. For me, that just makes me fail when i'm so restricted on what i allow myself to eat.
  15. The sweating is such a pain in the butt! It's like waves of heat and i get a prickly feeling down my arms and torso when it happens. Each flash last about 30 seconds...but goes on all freaking day long!!! The nurse should call me today with blood results. Hoping you get answers with your biopsy!
  16. Get an electronic cigarette with low nicotine and ween yourself off. That's what i did. I vape now but with no nicotine. Best invention ever!
  17. You're so sweet! I just noticed our stats are about the same...but you've lost way more than me. Good to know I'm not alone on the slow loser bench. I guess we are just too hard on ourselves...trying to keep positive and move forward.
  18. Seen my primary care doc yesterday. Had a bunch of blood drawn...Will know results in a few days. Curious to know if i'm lacking in anything. Good news! She's weening me off my blood pressure meds! She thinks i may be hypoglycemic because i break out in sweats all day long. Could be menopause too. She explained how our bodys process everything differently now. Went into detail about blood sugars that went way over my head! I'm losing so slow and kinda down about it...but she was thrilled with my results so far. Made me feel better
  19. The scale can be so evil sometimes!
  20. Not painful for me either. They gave me pain meds also right before i left. I was just super excited to be going home
  21. I love Wendy's chili! I can eat a large within a few hours! Great protein and not many calories. It is soupy so not really worried about it stretching the pouch.
  22. We are losing at about the same pace...This makes me think it is normal since we are considered light weights???
  23. I'm not a redhead...LOL..I had surgery April 22. Before surgery my highest weight was 203 and i'm 5"2...but probably older than you at 49.
  24. Before i got mine removed last month i would always have a dull right side pain. Never had a gallbladder attack. Test showed i had sludge in my gallbladder. The sludge would of turned to stones if i didn't have it taken out. My gallbladder was also fused to my liver. Surgeon had to burn it off.
