I'm feeling the same way, looking at the clock to see if its time to eat yet. It's hard and I bought a book called "skinny thinking". It's supposed to help with the mental part of changing food addiction. I will let you know if it helps, other than that I go to support groups to talk about it

Holy moly you are looking hot! It seems like you didn't have skin sagging issues..is it because you worked out a lot? I'm 23 and am scared ill never be able to wear a bikini because of excess skin even if I work out, but you achieved a 6 pack amazing!

Hi Guys, I started at 260, got down to 190 and am so happy to have a 70 pound loss! I havent done anything different and one day I went back up to 192, then two days later 194 Now im starting to freak out Im gaining weight and I dont know why!! I dont want to go back to the 200's Any suggestions? Is this happening to anyone else?

I started losing at 3 months. Im 5 months out now and its still really bad =( I hope it stops around 8 months like others have said, but I was taking biotin a year before my surgery it just makes it grow longer, not thicker. I had really thick hair, now its so thin and others have made comments on how this it is (annoying!) lol anyway I bought Nanogen its a powder you sprinkle on your head and the fibers grab onto your hair strands so your scalp doesnt show. I like it so far =)

I felt this way to in the second-third month I kept eating, and was upset at how much I could eat. Its different now for some reason I feel the restriction more so I just stop. I look for the sign like a hiccup and then I know im done

Sleeve Guru Did you start working out since the beginning of your surgery, or did you first lose some weight then begin to workout?

I finally hit Onederland Today! and ive lost 10 points off my BMI =D Im so happy I never ever want to see the two hundreds again!!

If your insurance will cover it go with Dr. Atkinson I wanted to go with him so bad since Ive read good reviews, and My friends who got WLS loved him, and the after care. He was 16,000 cash pay so I had to go with Dr. Umbach since he is 6,000 dollars less. You get what you pay for Im 4 months post op and hate everything about my surgeon He totally doesnt seem to care for his patients he even stacks patients, I went to support group yesterday and the receptionist was talking about how he has 9 patients to operate all in one day....shows the money matters more then the patient. Anyway sorry to be so negative, I just didnt have a good experience btw they havent called to check on me at all and see how Im doing 4 months out! Good luck dont let money be why you skimp out on a good surgeon =)

Wow awesome job everyone! I was sleeved DEC 14 and have lost 59 pounds total (including 7 pounds preop) I have hit a couple stalls. I cant wait for -2 pounds for Onederland!! Also my hair has been thinning and its getting noticeable =( anyone else? but honestly hair thinning is worth the weight losee success =D

May I ask what culture you are? I have been wanting a nose job since I was 14, but like your culture it is against mine, Im middle eastern, I want to see what it looks like after I hit my goal, but I think I still will get one in two years lol

Ive been looking into Paleo alot because they tend to use almond flour, got me thinking that would be high in protein no? I wouldnt mind using that as a bread subs. I already use quinoa now as rice since quinoa is really high in protein =D

Hey guys, So the only people I told was my mom, and my boyfriend. 2 members of my family found out I had surgery, they said "I know you got the lap band"...when I didnt Im VSG but still Im upset because they are not supportive, they are mad I didnt tell them and I feel its just my business. I feel defeated, embarrassed and if I loose weight they are the type that will say "its not like you did it on your own" Just venting I guess.. =(
