Ok - got new keyboard /mouse so my bad typing is going to be worse ;0) and got a usb port splitter :0) - I hate that I can't get multi quote to work ! Apples - that would piss me off to the max too - she went thru your purse - I have never had anyone go thru my purse - hell a couple times I forget to take out my liquids (they are in the little baggie) out of my carry on and I still get thru - don't think Palm Springs is that picky. I have a few friends who still have their parents - and since I have lost mine - I know how hard it is. As we all know - life just sucks big time - sometimes - Hugs on your friends loss.. I Love pot pie - but right now craving fish & veggies - still detoxing from all that processed food Great - I don't remember having to do that when I flew from Canada a yr ago - infact their went thru customs when I was in Canada not the USA - Resort was very nice - We agreed that we liked the resort - but liked the food better on a cruise - the specialty restaurants were good - like a cruise - but you had to make reservations their - since we did the higher scale resort (like 5 levels within one resort) we had unlimited # of reservations that we could make... The had room service $7 xtra - Drinks were included but like I said must have been watered down booze - the 1st day I had 3 or 4 drinks should have had a buzz but didn't. But again to do anything was off property and time consuming to get to - taxi to playa del carmen $40 and took about 30 minutes - and the concierge that was included was nice - we would go back - the pple we were on the scuba diving said Istobraret (sp) was a great place - and the Eldorado where we para-sailed & scuba dived from had a great beach and great place to eat (real mex food rest on the beach) - Don't know if it's an all inclusive resort though - As you can see by the size of my family - they are BIG eaters They would have broke me had we not done an all inclusive - you would have though that they were starving children from Africa they way they pigged out - it was sort of embarrassing - but like Joseph said - Mom you use to eat like this too - well not as bad as I could never consume tons of food all at one time like they can.. Eva - I'm not certified - it was only a 30 ft deep dive - but deep enough for me - they talk to you then you get in the water and practice and then you dive - It was super cool - I would have loved to be down longer - it seems like they didn't have enough weight on me - but I loved it - I got the pics from the water camera - sorta muddy/not super clear - will post later or wait til I get the disk from Joseph from the professional who took pic's while we were down. Since it was stormy that day - water wasn't super clear - but can't wait to do it again Charlene- I love WW - it's basically how I eat (imho think it's the most balanced healthiest eat plan out there)- am glad to hear that they have changed things up a little cuz hell on the point system you could eat 29 points in all bread ;0).. It's where I 1st heard - lifestyle lifetime change - well it didn't register then - but once I got banded - I got it - can't ever eat like I use to - the diets don't fail us - we fail by going back to our old eating habits which for most of us are unhealthy in the 1st place. It's good you are going w/DD - the accountability factor is very important.. Salad sounds good - but that means I have to go to the store again - house is sorta bear ;0) Julie - Glad to hear from you - Maybe you should just do that - quit all the meds and do what you think best, since they don't seem to be really helping you that much - I would hate to go to the doctor often - I am not a doc person - only go when it's totally necessary ;0) I won't be baking - may not even decorate this yr - since it's just me and the dogs - plus Christmas is so commercial now a days - It make me not like it very much - We (family) discussed going to resort next Christmas instead of presents - hell everyone has everything they need - so going on a family vacation would be great... I know a lot of pple do that now a days especially once everyone gets older (kids) - So told them to start saving... Laura - Hugs gf - yep when you get my age and have lost most of your family - you understand that all we have are our memories - I'm 55 and know tomorrow isn't promised and I wanted the kids to have some great memories - I think Kaitlin will have the best - since we scuba dived and para-sailed together - great time for Grandma & GD ;0 - Plus she thinks I'm a cool GM ;0).. Andrew goes on vacation a lot w/his Mom and we have done 2 major ones - so for him it's not a super big deal - but I think he enjoyed it - it made an effort to make me happy so it's all good.. But we (me joseph melissa) would like to take an adult only vacation ;0).. Maybe next Christmas - there present will be a little 3 or 4 day cruise by themselves and I'll watch the girls ;0). I can get back to post after looking at pic - but don't know how I do it - will pay attention next time.. ok been typing this for an hr most likely 10 post since I started this and drier just went off - cbl

I figured that they would have something like that - a usb splitter ;0) - will look for that too ;0) Love that bday card ;0) I know for me sometimes I'm tight sometimes I'm not - exercise makes me tight ;0) Phyl - Thanks !!! it really wasn't the vanilla that I wanted - was going to give to gf who bakes and sells here pies etc - it was the principal ;0) - Joseph & family coming in January - so doubt I can make it - but thanks for the invite ;0) Gosh Apples not another wake/funeral - enough already... Good Morning Peeps !! Great - I haven't seen body scanners at either Cancun, Phoenix nor Palm Springs just the regular metal detectors -I won't let it stop me from traveling either - but it's such a pain in the ass - especially after you have been traveling a long ways - another big complaint I have is that Airports should have secured area for smokers - I know we are the minority now a days - in fact we are hated - but why can't they have a space for us - we are pple too. After 8 hrs w/no smokes - I was ready to bite someones head off - and it was funny even though we just got off a plane - we still had to go thru security again to get on the plane to go home - that was the most unusual thing. Charlene - Girl you just gotta understand that you gotta budget those calories - I think WW is great - I don't know about the point system as I learned it on the exchange system which limits your starches - but again it's not about dieting - it the way to eat for the rest of your life - that you can't eat the way you want - you really gotta watch the starches. I still allow for treats but again budgetted for even 3.5 yrs out - sf for the most part but I watch starches - if you eat them then you just want more - I can eat bread etc - but usually don't - don't even have any in the house - last night just had fish kept burning up my veggies cuz I was on the computer ;0) had fish then greek yogurt & WW cream cheese w/brown sugar splenda - I was craving it after a week of not having it - it taste just like cheese cake w/o the crust.. I really think about nutrition when I eat - I know that if I eat junk - I will be junk - Not looking forward to Xmas and all the junk in the lunch room - last yr we were on the other side of the office - so I didn't see it much - but now that we have moved - I am exposed to it more often - going to have to practice my F you talk to the junk .. I don't have any parties this yr - so I don't have that nor will I be baking since the girls won't be here.. So I guess I have it easier than most less temptations.. Was going to sleep in this a.m. - but the gardeners got here before 7 this morning - so there went my plans ;0) - I need to go pic up film - hope to have some of our scuba diving - that was the best..

Good Morning Gang ~~~ Nope Karla - I took today off - had enough time to take the whole week off - I wish I would have except it puts a strain on the office. I will end up getting paid for a week and then still have 5 days carry over for next yr - I have 25 pto days - but w/these furlough days - a lot of the time that I did take off was using those days and not my pto days - I hope they continue furloughs but don't know yet - the owners hate that we are off so much but w/furloughs we have 12 extra days off on top of our pto - which got reduced to 23 - so that's 35 days off then add holidays ;0) . Was going to sleep in this a.m. but the gardener came - his reg day is usually monday but half the time he doesn't come till tuesday - but nope this morning he was here before 7.. So guess who didn't get to sleep in ;0) Sorry you aren't feeling so well this morning - maybe you did too much this weekend.. You go to doc on Wed to find out when they will do the hernia surgery.. That will be laposrocpic (sp) won't it - was this surgery lap or did they cut you??? It's cloudy this morning - 30% chance of rain - but suppose to get to 75 Phyl - See you are up early today ;0) - When are you leaving for Washington - you guys are driving - how many days will it take?? Need everything wireless - Puppies - I have only 4 usb ports - need one for wireless - one for click free - may just look for wireless keyboard & mouse - tomorrow since I don't have to work :0) I posted twice too ;0) - can't figure this new system out yet - anyone find subscipred threads yet... I miss that the most.. I hate email notifications - hell I had 238 emails to clean up... Airport security - I guess just like everything else in this world - it only harasses the good guys doesn't stop the bad ones.. Just like pple who want gun control - it doesn't stop the bad guys from getting guns - but hell if I try to buy one take forever.. Some Mexican Vanilla and cooking oil which had to be no more than 4 oz - stupid witch - I'm still pissed about it.. She said you can go ck your bag - ya right after 8 hrs of traveling - waiting and going thru security going to pay $25 wait in another line - go thru security again - for $15 dollars of junk... I am up to my eyeballs in cutout Cookies and doing the runny drizzle frosting where it coats the entire cookie. What a mess. Why did I start/??????? They took my vanilla & habenaro sauce in Phoenix - bought it in the Airport in Cancun (after security) didn't think to stick it in my ck'd luggage after picking it up at customs - they were little bottle stupid "b" took it - the guy at the metal detector was really nice - my sliver earrings made the machine beep - had to go back and forth a few times - but he was so nice I couldn't complain - but the whole lines - put all your stuff in a bin - take off your jacket, hat, shoes all after you just got off a plane from where you went thru security had to wait at the airport for 4 hours (in Cancun once you go thru security you have to stay in the terminal) then a 4 hr flight - then customs, then some other ck point - I was ready to scream !!! I ate ok - didn't really worry about it - walked so much... Poor Melissa (my dil) was worn out when we were shopping in Playa del Carmen - I remember those days (pre-band) where walking like that killed me - we had to stop and get a taxi earlier than I wanted to cuz she was so pooped.. I haven't gotten on the scales yet - waiting for all the salt & sugar to get out of my system (ate dessert every nite ;0) - going to have fish and veggies for dinner - gotta say the food at the buffets was ok - veggie not cooked like I like (well done) and not alot of choices either and salads were lettuce leaves not chopped up - never even got a buzz from the cocktails - think they water down the booze.. Didn't really drink that much - I guess I just wasn't in the mood and we had such a full schedule that didn't want a hangover either.. The speciality restaurants were good - we went to 2 steak & french - We all agreed the french place was the best - filet migon, lobster - and for me escargo Well, need to really feed the dogs they are looking at me and guess I need to start my dinner too.. cbl

I'm Back !!!! Just sorta scanned post - just wanted to let you all know I'm back safe & sound.. They had a computers at resort - but to busy to sit down and post ;0).. Had a GREAT TIME - could have used another day.. Got there around 4-5 on Saturday - everyone was starving - and buffet didn't open til 6:30 - they made it - but we had some grouchy pple ;0) not me mostly Andrew the skinniest of us all.. We had rooms next to each other but my room was just a king bed and so we had to switch since Andrew slept w/me - so we were just separated by one room from Joseph Sunday - Beach day Monday - Tulum on a cataimarn - poor Melissa & Andrew got sea sick - Tues Playa Del Carmen Shopping Wed Scuba diving for me Joseph & Kaitlin (her bday) - Joseph/melissa/andrew/brooke went on wave runners - kaitlin and I were suppose to parasail - but that got cancelled - weather wasnt' great - so we had to reschedule for Firday Thurs - Cozumel - glad neither Andrew or Melissa got sick on the ferries - but the did take some dramabean - We just shopped here. Friday - Kaitlin & I went parasailing - it was way cool.. Then back to resort - and had a little beach time.. The best part was the scuba diving - that was way cool - the 2 guys who took us were great - one was a cutie (Jose) and Ralphe the other kid was so nice - he remembered our names when we went back on Friday to get t-shirt - and gave me a kiss on the cheek - he was like 20 something - so nice.. Joseph has the disk of these pic's so have to wait for him to email - Weather 1st 3 days was great - but then it cooled down - a bit - but it was fantastic time - could have used 1 more day just for beach time - we would do what ever we had planned then by the time we got back - it was time for dinner - then saw a show or walked around normally back to the room by 9 ish for me as I was pooped -as I was normally up 6-7 which was my normal time here (4-5) 2 hr time diff.. Still unpacking washing - will get camera out in a bit and post pics later - sure glad to be home - sure glad I don't have to go to work tomorrow ;0) cbl xoxoxo J

Charlene - No it didn't hurt at all (maybe once i felt a prick - but really truly no pain) - they put a numbing cream on - and the filler has novocaine in it - I am a bit bruised under one eye - but not bad - make will cover it up - I never left the house today - stayed in jammies all day - so tomorrow when I get dressed I will post a picture - Since you have seen me in person - you may notice the diff cuz most of my pictures are photoshopped :0) - The bags under my eyes don't show that bad in pics and if I'm smiling you don't notice the marionate lines - but we will see tomorrow.. I leave Saturday morning for my all inclusive ;0) Apples - Glad you had a good day - wish I had some dessert ;0) - or maybe a little stuffing - my seafood bisque was awful - won't buy that again.. Well it's sure been quite here today :0) Found something like subscribed threads - up at the top of this page it says something like watching topics - then on the home page on the right hand side it below blogs - on my computer by the weight specific lapband support groups - there is a thingie that says Watched Contents - with 2 tabs forums & topics - so I guess I will have to wait til someone post to see if that's where our subscribed threads are now going to be.. Changed out Andrew's Bathroom & Bedroom with new stuff - towels bedding etc - didn't hang the curtains - Have packed - washed - and just farted around all day - talked to everyone and then some.. Getting ready to have some seafood bisque w/scallops.. Need to go figure out bills & $$ - Tomorrow nails - toes - bank - and what ever else pops up.. CBL
