Its actually kind of ridiculous...they make it seem as if its the insurance company.. but its them taking their sweet A@# time...I got approved on 1-4... I called them 6 times to find out about scheduling my surgery and they still said insurance was the hold up...I would keep calling..call your insurance co and Dr.. hey they all make a ton of money off us..make em work.. .. hope you all hear something soon..

Luck you..I have 3 weeks of liquids...start 2-11 surgery 3-6 ...people around me better look out...oh and that will be my "time" too...lmao...

Me too.. I read too many bad things about the surgery..but I can tell you this..next year we will both be putting up our side by side pics and telling new people to not be afraid...we can do it.. where are you from? I am from Lockport NY ..

I am so sorry you are going through this... but I can say this very thing happened to me after having my tubes tied 14 years ago..but I am here to talk about it...and this is my biggest fear having surgery in March..but I know it seems like it will never close up..it will and you will be fine..and when you are skinny you will have a scar to remind you of the battle you won against obesity... Sending prayers your way... Stay strong

Thank you both.. my doc has great credentials has done thousands of surgerys...not worried about him..its me being a wacko...lol..I guess it's the unknown... I know deep down I will be fine or I never would have made this decision.. I am at peace with everything.. I am calm and cool..just scared that maybe thinking that nothing will go wrong means something will...lol..I need to stop reading other people's bad experiences and focus on my own journey.. maybe these people didn't follow doctor instructions right..I know that for sure I will..cause of course I convinced myself it's life and death... take care all...I will be on the losers bench soon.. March 6th ...here I come

I am about a month away from surgery..but..constantly thinking about it..I am scared to death something will go wrong. Get a leak, infection, die!!! I think I am driving myself NUTS! Lol..but really can anyone give me any tips or advise on how to relax a little...you would think I was on the operating table right now my nerves are so shot...lol..one day I am ok..the next I am a mess...I am sure everyone goes through this at some point...I just don't know how to handle all the different emotions..well to anyone who reads, thanks for listening to me vent..

My insurance approved my surgery 1-4.. and I got my date today..so about 3ish weeks for me...drove me nuts!!! hang in there..it will happen
