  1. I am sorry that you have to go through this. I have never slimed or thrown up. I am 16 weeks.

You need to focus only on eating when you are at work: no talking, no reading.

I would think that once would be enough.

    Good Luck.

I'm very glad for you that you have never had the "slime" syndrome, but I think you are the exception rather than the rule. You may think that "once would be enough" but since it's never happened to you how can you be so judgmental? Trust me, no one wants it to happen after the first time, but it comes on so quickly you don't even realize you've just eaten one bite too many. People come to this site for advice and empathy not to be judged so chill out not everyone is as perfect as you seem to be.

  2. Dianaw I was sleeved on 11/19 and am experiencing the same thing; I was told that it's because our sleeve is still swollen so it would give us that tight feeling...I also had a hiatal hernia repair so that makes it a little worse...I think you''ll be fine...it''ll take some time for that swelling to go away...obviously if you''re still uncomfortable, go ahead and make contact with your surgeon....

Thank you Bajanqueen70, that makes me feel so much better.

  3. I had my sleeve done on November 5th. My concern is from day one of my surgery, I've experienced a "tightness" in my throat. At first I thought it was from drinking too fast but I wake up in the morning with the same feeling. I also had a hiatal hernia repair with my sleeve. I'm beginning to get concerned as to what is causing this and whether or not it will go away.
