  1. I'm very glad for you that you have never had the "slime" syndrome, but I think you are the exception rather than the rule. You may think that "once would be enough" but since it's never happened to you how can you be so judgmental? Trust me, no one wants it to happen after the first time, but it comes on so quickly you don't even realize you've just eaten one bite too many. People come to this site for advice and empathy not to be judged so chill out not everyone is as perfect as you seem to be.

  4. My doctor told me no alcohol or caffeine for 6 months because they are both stomach irritants and we are still healing.
  5. I was told not to have chocolate (caffeine) for 3 months. I can have as many sugar free Popsicles as I want.

  8. I'm almost 3 weeks post op. I'm never really "hungry" but the "head hunger" is killing me. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to overcome them? Does it get any easier with time?

  10. Mine was initially denied also. We appealed it and about 6 weeks later they approved it. Had my surgery on November 5th. Hang in there!
  11. A sleep study is the best way to find out if you still need the CPAP.
  12. My surgeon told me to wait 6 months before consuming caffeine. As saddie said, it irritates the stomach so you should probably wait until you are completely healed.
  13. Thank you Bajanqueen70, that makes me feel so much better.
  14. Thanks, I will. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
  15. I had my sleeve done on November 5th. My concern is from day one of my surgery, I've experienced a "tightness" in my throat. At first I thought it was from drinking too fast but I wake up in the morning with the same feeling. I also had a hiatal hernia repair with my sleeve. I'm beginning to get concerned as to what is causing this and whether or not it will go away.
