  2. I am almost 4 months out and mine haven't moved. 65lbs lost and boobs are just as big and butt looks bigger in proportion . I have huge hips so they actually make it hard for me to find pants that fit now.

    Relationship issues after surgery?

I read somewhere that good relationships only get better and bad relationships only get worse after surgery. I think I fall into the first category. My fiancé and I have had a lot go on in the last 6 months and we have made it through stronger than ever. We will talk things to death if we need to. We both were married previously to people who just flat refused to talk about any sort of problems and are determined to not let that happen to us. We talked about this surgery like crazy and I made him come to my psych eval and a few of my other pre-op appointments. I warned him well in advance I was going to be an emotional mess. We have made it through completely remodeling our house with no blow ups- so I say we are on the right track

Let's Check In November 2012 Sleevers!

Hi everyone! I am officially over 1/2 way to goal! I can't believe it. Seriously... I just had this bad vibe that I'd screw up and nothing would work.

My hair is falling out like crazy. Started at 3 months out. Thankfully my hair is long and thick so no one has noticed. But- its falling out a lot. It will stop eventually.

    Pasta Issues

I haven't thrown up anything- but I will say (and yes I'm well aware of how bad of a move it was) I tried 1 Samoa Girl Scout cookie last night and got queasy. I have eaten carbs and sugars before- but yeah. It was not good and I definitely won't try that again. I know my sister has certain foods she just can't tolerate (chicken for one) she eats it and it comes back up.
  8. I lost that big amount and have been stalled since- but I was down .6lbs this morning. I may or may not make my goal- but I am happy with my progress

    Boobs?

I was a 40g pre-surgery. I'm 3.5 months out and a 38g. I come from a long line of big boobed women- I was a DD in 6th grade (when I was still of normal size!!). I have breastfed two kiddos and I will breastfeed a third one eventually. So- I will wait for that to be done and I will definitely need some work done

    Inner Thighs - Ick!

I had something similar happen 5 years ago- I apparently nicked myself shaving and kept getting abscesses that wouldn't go away. Went to the dermatologist and I had MRSA. Had to have them removed and they wound up taking a lymph node in the process. It was a yucky experience.

    Top 5 Running Songs

I use my iPhone or my dinosaur iPod (it may be a 2nd gen-ish?). I completely agree with quality earbuds! I have beats by dr dre ear buds and love them! I was supposed to see muse in 2011 in Austin but I got super sick the day of the concert and had to give it to a friend

    Top 5 Running Songs

I have a 'work out' play list. It has a mush mosh of everything from Texas country to eminem. I have a lot of muse on it though- I love them!

    If no NAIDS...then what?

My doc allows them for sleeve patients- which is why I had the sleeve. I would be in bad shape if it wasn't for NSAIDs.

    Getting use to the idea

You look great and you can definitely tell!!!! Big difference! I'm 4'11 and somehow I carry my weigh well. My fiancé had no clue I weighed as much as I did. In fact he was shocked when I told him my current weight and how many pounds I have lost. Keep rocking your sleeve!!

    Sugar reaction survey...

I bake for a living. I've had some sweets- and by some I mean I've had 1/2 a cupcake and a tiny piece of pie (ok- like 5 tiny bites). But I have zero bad reaction. I almost wish I did. However sweets were never my thing- I was a bread and soda girl and bread makes me feel ick. And I haven't tried a soda.

    Seeking Buddies 5'2" & Under

My doctors goal is 140- mine is 130. I was 139 in high school- I was a big time softball player- I had very low body fat and way too much muscle. I doubt I will ever be quite that 'fit' again- but I have set my goal lower because I know I won't have that much muscle now.
