I completed week 4 tuesday...but I'm going to re do it. That last 5 min jog was tough and it wasn't until day 3 i completed it totally. So I'm hoping by doing it over for another week I'll build more stamina

I have TONS of LB size 7 and 8 jeans and slacks...message me if interested. I have a variety of colors

I finished week three this morning with an extra 2 minutes of run at the end (I extend the cool down). It felt great. Music really helps me too. I like the Chili Peppers.Running a little slower than I probably should' date=' but it's better than nothing! I'm running at 4.5 but on a 1.5% incline. Looking forward to Monday and week 4![/quote']
I just started week 4(I'm on day 2) all I can say is OH BOY lol...but I too am only running at 4.5 lol. I'm just amazed that I'm even able to run for 5 min...never before in life have I had the endurance to run for that long. I'm truly enjoying the c25k

I was sleeved on Feb 1st and on Feb 4th I was in the ER... Chest pains and could barely breathe. After EKG and X-ray my surgeon admitted me. I was told I have Pericarditis' date=' I was not discharged until Feb 7th @ 9pm... I still have some chest pain and the cardiologist said no exercise for 2 weeks. I'm trying to stay positive but it's hard, I feel like this is holding me back.[/quote']Don't get discouraged ...just remember "this to shall pass"

Yes it's with all the crystal light drinks. It's the Walmart brand. They have all kinds of flavors. This one is like apple juice and to me it doesn't have the crystal light aftertaste. I tried to find a link but can't find it. The packet is for 2 quarts so I use 2 packets in a gallon container. I bought apple' date=' cherry, and strawberry-watermelon. The apple is in a green container.[/quote']
Thanks for sharing!

Father forgive me for I have sinned.Confessions;
1. I'm not catholic.
2. After staying on the right path and being miserable craving everything I shouldn't eat I ate a 7/11 hot dog and sweet tea from mcds tonight.
3. I'm addicted to the sugar free apple juice powder at Walmart.< /p>
4. Even though I've lost a little over 100 pounds in the last 5 months I still don't see it. I still don't have a positive self image.
5. I feel often times like I'm flying at 300 miles an hour and I'm just waiting to crash into a wall. This process has been hard and finding my own way has been quite the challenge. I feel like I need a regimented manual to follow sometimes instead of just basic guidelines of eat more Protein. The rebel in me says what's wrong with treating yourself to a cookie or a couple bites of mashed potatoes?
I'm proud of my accomplishments I just wish I had a little more direction.
What's apple juice powder...and what isle do u find it on? Is it near all the other powdered drinks ...like crystal light?

12 is my goal size! I went from a 26 and now in an 18 :-) luckily in tall...so I "carry my weight" well. My goal weight (190) is as high as some folks starting weights lol ...but as long as I look good and feel good the numbers don't matter
-
I started at 256 on 11/15. Since then I've only lost 45 pounds. Seeing the weight loss in my face' date=' I just wish it was coming off quicker. My friend had her surgery not even a month ago and is down almost the same amount. She started off at 313 but it still frustrates me that it's not comin off a fast for me[/quote']Only 45 lbs?!? Never say "only"...that's a HUGE accomplishment..and be proud! You look great! Keep up the good work and don't compare your loss to others . Everyone looses at their own pace. Keep doing what your doing and you will make goal!!! :-)

I've heard of the 5,10,15 rule ...no more than 5 grams of fat, 10 grams of sugar and 15 grams of carbs per meal

She didn't come here to seek advice' date=' but to see if anyone had experience anything similar to what she is going through. Nor did she come here to get attacked by people like you! Have you ever heard the saying, " if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." You should definitely start practicing that... Like yesterday.
Get a life and target your negative energy to being a productive citizen.[/quote']
Funny how folks wanna "attack" me for "attacking" someone. In your efforts to "defend" the OP...you engage in the same behavior you accuse me of? Yeah...that makes a lot of since . I don't feel I attacked her..in MY OPINION I think she's lying...that's all

The professionals or not all professionals miss lady well why would you be on here oh yeah to be nosey sounds like u don't have a life
I don't have a life...yet you have time to respond to me...LOL!!! (we can go back and forth all day..since I have no life and you must not either :-) And when I say "professionals" I mean medical professionals...no one should come on here seeking medical advice if they have a serious medical question.

Between the boob worry and the catheter I am just dying of embarrassment lol! But I keep reminding myself..these guys have seen it allSpeaking of catheters ....when I woke up and took my first trip to the restroom I was bleeding...so I called my nurse and told her that my catheter was causing me to bleed...her response: "you didn't have a catheter placed!" lol the bleeding was actually caused from the incision above my belly button..it hade slight reopened and the blood kinds leaked down to my lady parts lol!!!! Moral of story(if there is one lol) Not all surgeons require catheters

It surprises me to hear of so many people who didn't have any post-op leak tests. I had two (and one in the OR).
I had my surgery performed at a bariatric center of excellence (Kaiser) and I didn't have a leak test either(besides the leak test they do during the operation). Like a few other posters stated the leak tests do not lessen the chances of a person developing a leak. I remember during my pre op classes they beat into our heads how they "staple and cauterize"..."staple and cauterize" ...seems like I heard that every week for 12 weeks lol...I guess that was their pitch to convincd ua that leaks are highly unlikely with their technique *shrugs shoulders* but I've have ZERO complications...down 61 lbs since including prepop..sleeve on 11/14

Say something useful ..if it was you then what ?
And IF this or any other unbelievable event should happen to me(god forbid)...I WOULD NOT come here to seek advice. I would leave that to the professionals ...as the OP should
-
Say something useful ..if it was you then what ?
I wasn't here to be useful of offer advice...I was simply stating my OPINION...which I'm entitled too(and so is everyone else) :-) thankyou very much

My surgeon said not to consume more than 80. The body can't consume much more than that. I think I read the execs will be stored in your liver as fat. Some weight lifters consume high amounts of Protein to bulk up. But for us sleeves 60-80 I what my surgeon and nutritionist advised
-
I call BS on the OP original post. Point. Blank. To the Period! Lol I don't come here necessarily for support or to give it. I like to read other people accounts...follow their journeys. Sometimes I just like to be plain old nosey. But If this site is a persons ONLY source Of support, they are in for a rude awakening. That's like someone who is socially inept seeking moral support on Facebook or twitter. Bottom line...don't come on Here expecting EVERYONE to play the violin while you tell your sad sob "story" and in this case...a lie

I noticed her profile pic changed...I think it's showing the incisions(I'm on my iPad and can't view full profiles) BUT...I need to see the face in that shot to believe it. I'm not saying she has to PROVE she's telling the truth...but....well I guess I am saying that lol.

Ok ...I need to go to bed...but now this has me thinking. It's one thing to have a slow loss or possibly not lose...BUT ....to gain?!? Not just gain a little...but an average of 3lbs per week while exercising and dieting?!?!?! Uh uh...nope...not believing it...although for a second I was. Do you typically gain weight at that rate? The fact your "dr" referred to you stomach as a "pouch".. All this sounds unbelievable

I must admit. Im VERY SKEPTICAL of her story...HOWEVER...if there's any truth behind it...she needs to get a second medical opinion and possibly legal advice. This website is like any other social networking site. There's much more to people behind the screen...

Day 2, feel fine but worried about restriction
in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Posted
Yes it's normal...I had absolutely no problems keeping anything down. I was downing my Protein Shakes and any other liquid I could drink. You won't really feel true restriction until youre on solids.
