  1. That keurig combo sounds awesome!!!!
  2. I'm starting Dayshift for the first time in 6 years and like most of us will be pressed for time in the morning. I was wondering if we can post our favorite breakfast so I can get inspired for my new schedule !! My fav breakfast is one scrambled egg and one slice of cheese on a wasa sesame cracker
  3. Yes!! Lets do this!! We can do this! I have never been so excited to work out. Haha!!!
  4. Sleeved nov 7th. Down 40 lbs. I am cleared by my doctor to have my friend/trainer "kick my ass" at the gym. Which I am totally looking forward to!! My original goal was to try to loose 11 lbs a month so July I will be at 170 which is my first weight goal. But I know working out builds muscle which weighs more than fat so I am going to concentrate on my clothing. I would love to be a size 10 for summer I am wearing an 18 now down from a 22/24
  5. Sleeved Nov 7th. Down 40 lbs!! From 22/24 pants to 18. From a 2xl shirt to a l/xl (depending on the brand)
  6. Hey all. As we all know we have good days and bad days. Today is bad. I'm so discouraged and two days away from my appointment with my surgeon. Total loss so far was 30 and now I have gained 3-4 lbs. I know the stall is usually like at 3-4 weeks but its sooo discouraging. Also because my nut is not being covered by insurance. I'm feeling embarrassed because of the stall. I will be mortified when I go to my surgeon. I just know me. It seems that once the surgery is done you feel totally alone on this journey. That is why I post on here because I rely on the info that is posted Hoping tomorrow will be a better day
  7. So while I am thankful my insurance covered my procedure they now will not cover nut appointments. Just a small rant here for the insurance companies who support the surgery but not the support and guidance we need after! As many of us have learned our surgeons concentrate on the procedure not the diet after. I'm very disappointed in this for the people who can't afford to spend $200-300 for a 45 min appointment it makes me sick!!
  8. Thanks everyone! It's so funny because I made the decision not to go on the scale and do my best and not be stressed. Oh well that back fired. Maybe I need to step on that scale every couple of days to remind myself of the progress. Thanks everyone for taking the time to answer me I really appreciate it.
  9. Nov 7th was my surg date. I have not stepped on the scale in 3 weeks. Been trying to get all my protein in. And today I step on the scale and gained 4 lbs. I heard of the stall, but the gain? I am do bummed because I'm going to my doc in one week and I will be so embarrassed when I step on that scale. Anyone have this happen?
  10. That's fantastic!!! You look great!!
  11. I was sleeved on nov 7th. As of two weeks ago I lost 30. I made a decision to not step on the scale until my next dr appt which is next week. I have felt like I gained but maybe I'm just obsessing because now xl shirts fit me rather than 2x and I bought jeans rather than 20 an 18. I know inches are coming off but I'm feeling bloated and heavy. I made a deal with myself that I was not going to be a Slave to the scale because like all of us it took a while to get to the weight we were and its going to take a while to get to the weight we want to be. Hang in there and think positive. I know we will have stalls but our bodies will kick in especially when we are not stressed out over trying to get thin. Hang in there !!!!
  12. Thanks everyone. I wound up going home and going to sleep and headache was gone this morning I think it was a combo of the heat at work. We have no windows and it was warm and the air was broke. Also it was damp and raining. My 3 out of the 5 of us had headaches
  13. I'm at work. Out in 15 min and as soon as I get home I'm taking one Good luck with your surgery!!
  14. It's my one month anniversary.
  15. Ok I am on need of something to get rid of the massive headache I have. Has anyone taken aleave? Do I have to crush it!
  16. 2 oz or 2x ? I'm sorry what does the mean ?
  17. You look great!!! Congrats !! I ask everyone this but what are you eating ??
  18. I did scrambled, protein shakes, soft carrots chewed to the point it was gone before I swallowed. Lol !! I hate creamed everything, but creamed soups, mashed Potatos, my fav is ground chicken (put an egg and Italian seasoning in it) then scoop into a muffin pan. Cook then take out and add little sauce and shredded mozzarella and put it back in to melt. It's like a little chicken parm! Very good ! Of course that's for when you go to meet. Not sure when they will let you. Everyone gets different diets I love love spinach, but it didn't sit well with me at first. I was told with every new food take a bite and wait a bit to see how you feel. Like 5 min or so. God luck!!
  19. I was a week late. Today I got it for the first time and so far lighter but bad bad cramping. Uggg! Just in time to go to an inside water park with my kids this weekend.
  20. You look great!! Ok what are you eating? Are you working out? I need inspiration. I'm not stepping on the scale until I go to my doc but I have loved buying jeans 2 sizes smaller! Sleeved nov 7th. As of 2 weeks ago loss of 30 lbs = 247
  21. I was sleeved on Nov 7th. I was wondering if everyone can post a day of what they are eating. I'm looking for some ideas to change it up. Thanks!!
  22. Coco41 that's great!! I went to banana republic one of my favorite stores which I have not been able to shop at for years and got some long sleeve tunic style shirts and I fit in a xl so I'm thinking the top is like 14/16. I can't buy too much but I have always been a jeans and funky sweater kind of girl with my merrells clogs or my uggs I heard many people loose a shoes size too so I'm staying away from shoe shopping Going to treat myself to a Anthropolgy visit when I get to a 12. Love love love that store!!
  23. Thanks everyone !!! Soo looking forward to shopping on the opposite side of the woman's plus section next year!!
  24. Sleeved Nov 7th and as of a week or so ago down 30 lbs. this past weekend I had to buy a new pair of jeans because we were going to a theatre and my jeans were very big in the butt area! When I tried on the jeans (usually I grab a 22 or 24 size) I had to ask for a 20... Then I tried on a size 18! I walked out of that store with a smile in my face and a pair of 18 jeans! It was then I thought that my scale is not what I need to look at everyday. It's how I feel in my new jeans and the inches I have lost already. I'm not measuring myself to see how many inches I lost, I'm just going to do the best I can and enjoy my new jeans and when I go see my doc in 2 weeks I will step on the scale. I hope in January I can buy a pair of size 16's !!
