  1. I'm 42 and I am so happy about my choice two years ago. Two years have passed and I'm still a work in progress which actually keeps me motivated to continue. I'm down 125 lbs and want so badly to get what I thought was going to be a tummy tuck has turned into a body lift. Oh well it's all worth it. Lose skin is not fun. I need it gone I am a size 8-10 depending on the brand ms I was told with a body lift I would be a 6. Not that clothes size matters in this journey but I don't ever remember being a 6. Lol !!
  2. Thank you everyone!!!
  3. Thank you everyone! What I've learned in the past year and a half is keep moving! Exercise is so important especially with the loose skin! Weight training and kickboxing help tone. Also it's ok to taste something and not feel guilty about it. I do not deny myself a treat every now and then. Last and very important this surgery is a fantastic tool. It inspires me to work harder and when I work for my goal the sleeve works for me. We should all be proud of ourselves because we are all worth it!! Xoxox!!
  4. Down 120. 13 to go until I reach my tummy tuck goal then 10 more after that! Hoping the skin removal will take a good chunk of that last 10 lbs off! Best thin I ever did for myself!!

What are you looking to have done? I had the sleeve nov 7 last year. Doing fantastic!!
  7. Ok your not going to believe it but KMART!! I ran in there to grab laundry detergent and saw it and said I think I can make this work! It's by Bongo. I also found an awesome bathing suit ! Every once in a while you can find something there! I'm not one to say I'm going shopping for clothes at Kmart in fact my Bloomingdales bill just came and well it's a big one but I deserve it! My husband said I deserve it too ! Lol !!!
  8. I think no matter how much we all loose, no doubt we know we look better and feel better there will always be that insecure heavy person inside lurking. Not haunting me but there It's a good thing because it keeps you going because I never ever want to go back to square one
  9. Thank you everyone. I can honestly say I thought i looked good in that dress when I bought it! I look now and uggh!! The candid shots yes! The worst!! My 8 year old twins said oh mommy you were fat!! Lol!! I was so I can't argue with them! But in the same way I look at my before pic and never thought I looked like that, I look at my now pic and I don't see what others see now. When I look in the mirror it's still a heavy me but not the obese me from last year. Anyone feel that way?

  16. It's weird the way I look at myself now I still take pics of myself and send them to my friend to see if a outfit I want to buy looks ok. I see a smaller but still see a heavy me. I just went to a wedding and felt great! I wore a dress I never thought I would ever be able to wear and got many compliments but I was still self conscious about my stomach and arms. Tummy tuck arm reduction and boob job in my future here!! Another 40 lbs and I will start with that. Here is the wedding pic. I don't have many pics of my whole body because I'm still that person that stands behind everyone in the pic.
