  1. You might miss food, but it was the bad unhealthy food that got us here. Why bother do surgery if your not mentally ready? Not trying to sound harsh but dam the surgery is only a tool and the rest comes through behavior modification. Leaving bad eating habits. You might want to get further counseling because I think you are having a hard time divorcing unhealthy fat foods. Is not easy but please please don't give up so easily. Best of luck.

  7. So my doctor call me to tell me bad news. I came positive on my breathing/coughing exam. He prescribed some medication for 5days. He told me there's nothing I should be alarm about. Just hoping this isn't bad. >_< fingers cross. Will update you guys once I see him this coming Wednesday.

  9. Ok so in about three weeks I will be sleeved. I am freaking out. Not sure what type of Protein I should buy. I do not like any sweets or chocolatie drinks. I seen some people mentioning unjury chicken and other whey protein products. I just don't know how to go about in deciding which is the best for me. Also, can someone tell me if the picture people of chicken broth is good for me? Is organic. Please help! Thank you all!

  11. Awesome. Save my email so you and I can help each other through this process. I sign all consent papers on Jan 15th so I am crossing my fingers I don't get sick because of this cold weather.

  13. Is not by Aetna but depending on the Center who is doing your surgery. Is almost like a consent online form letting you know the dangers and informing that surgery you selected to have. Is very informative and is called Emmi the application name online. And at Surf that's great the 30th sleevers! can't wait.

  17. Same here pleasure to meet you Shaun. Right now I'm 5ft 10 n I weight 289. BMI is low or at least at the edge to meet insurance req. that's why I haven't start my diet. But yes we should both started it at the same time. When will you hear from them to find out you surgery date? What's your goal? Mine is to lose 100lbs. >_< Lolz it will be cool if ur surgery is close to mine too.

  19. Thank you. You're absolutely right. I want to start right away. I did the 21day liquid diet so I know how hard it can be. But I will do it to at least knock done weight off before surgery. Btw did you get urs done? I am Adrian btw.. Nice to meet you.
  20. I did the 3month. Went by quick. I just need to know if I need to be in a liquid diet cuz they haven't say much about that.

  24. So my insurance navigator inform me all my docs seem good ready to submit. All I am missing is one req. visit on Jan9th. My surgery date is Jan 30th. I am so excited. There's a website they'll give you with an access code that you must complete prior to surgery. This website will tell you all the details and steps of the type of surgery you selected. Also is helpful in many ways because it answers a lot of you questions. I am so ready for next month. Thank god is after the holidays because I wouldn't want to be in bed and miss out of my family.
