  1. Well my docs office told me all my documents look good and ready to submit to Aetna. They gave me January 30th as my surgery date. I will have to sign all consents forms on January 15th. They will be submitting all paperwork on Jan9th because is my last req. visit. I am so excited everything ran smoothly. My office nurse said it won't take more than 8days to get confirmation. Do now I am ready. Ready to start a new life!!!

  6. So my insurance navigator request 2yr weight history for my approval. I got 2010 and 2011 weight history but she says the BMI for both yrs has to be over 40. My BMI for 2010 is 39.85 and 41 for 2011. I'm concern Artna my denied me because of 2010. Should I talk to my PCP or to leave it as is? I don't want to be denied because of a decimal short. My PCP did write a notice saying my BZmI should be consider 40 given for the past 10 yrs I been struggling with obesity. Do you think this helps? Any advice or comments will help.
  7. Yes most likely will hit you up. As soon as it gets approved. Fingers crossed.
  8. RawrrAshle thank you so much. I feel more confident everyday. The best way is imagining what I would be or become if I don't do anything about it. #kudos
  9. Hi, I am 28yrs old from North New Jersey. My current weight is 289 5ft 10in BMI 41.5. I will be going on my 3rd preop visit to the nutritionist. I must admit I am nervous n a bit scared. This would be my first surgery ever. Also, some of my friends don't approve of my doing this "drastic" decision. They feel I look good as is. Also I know I don't look that huge but I feel it and I sure am if my BMI is 40 and above. What do you guys think? Also will I ever regret this procedure? I mean will there be good results? I can't wait to do it surgery soon. I want this to be done. "/
  10. Ok. I am having the same problem. The Biatric Center is requesting 2yrs of my weight history. They also asked me if I was at the same weight like I am now with a BMI 41. The insurance rep said my weight for the past 2yts couldn't show less then 280 or I wouldn't qualify. I am a big scared. I will see if I can find those records through my primary care doc but if I can't what should or can I do? I am schedule for my third visit in December. The closer the more nervousness I get.
