  4. At Overlook Hospital. Summit, NJ, what about you?
  5. James n TJ will do. Question.. I drank 2 or 3 beers yesterday cuz it was my bday. I regret it cuz now I am nervous they might not do surgery on the 30th. Should I be worried? I mean I still have 2days but not sure. Just hope it doesn't postpone my surgery ;(.
  6. I am super scared. Mine is the 30th. I felt so bad becuz this past weekend I aye bad foods n drank beer. ;( I hope this doesn't hurt me in the long run. ;(
  7. How are you feeling now? Is everything going smooth? I am schedule for surgery the 30th.
  8. First request a copy of ur surgery pics and etc. second, talk to ur nutritionist, third try to create ur own eating habits, just because you don't feel full doesn't mean you should just eat. This is a tool to assist us in losing weight is not a quick fix. Last, bypass is dangerous. Even if the surgeon recommended it I wouldn't have done it. That's just to much rerouting my poor intestines. Wish u good luck n I hope you don't feel like this is the end of you journey, is done and now try to stay positive and help yourself to think it worked.
  9. Got approved the 22nd!!! I called my insurance n to find out I was approved long time ago. Not even my surgery center called me. Is always good to call ur insurance company. N btw.. I love Aetna!!!
  10. So what should I be doing that last couple of days left before my sleeve? I get surgery Jan 30th and just getting nervous.
  11. Lol I just found this part after browsing they this app. Anyways, my partner and I been together for 7yrs. He is so supportive and I think it makes a lot of difference. I am being sleeve on the 30th so right now I feel a bit anxious. I wonder how this surgery will affect our relationship as we always go out for dinners and enjoy food. The only difference he seems not to gain weight and I do! I love him as much he loves me just a but scared what the future holds. >_<
  12. Same here Jan30th excited n freaking out.
  13. I told my doc I wanted 4weeks off. The first 2weeks is to heal and the other 2 to start a workout routine. Like they say, it takes 21days to create a habit and I am determined in creating good ones. Is a lifestyle change so make sure you give yourself time.
  14. Thank you for the support. Hope it is @enuff
  15. My docs were submitted today and they have me booked for surgery on Jan30th. I have to admit I am sort of nervous. I got a billion things to do and I am just stress. >_<
  16. Don't you worry love time will pass by quick enough for you to carry your baby. Mine is on the 30th and I am so nervous. Never been on an operating table before. My family wasn't as supportive but now they are. I wish you the best and trust me we will look a lot different a year from now. I will keep you in my prayers and all I can say is think the positive. You will be breaking a cycle in your family and to me you are building a legacy forever to remember. Best of luck.
  17. Is your decision. But make sure you do your research. I started with the band but I switch after finding most people who do the band eventually had to reapply to get the sleeve. Best of luck regardless what your final decision is.
