I was 8 mos. out when I became pregnant. I Had lost about 60 lbs. I am currently 18 days from delivery and I have gained 37 lbs. My portions increased from like 1/2 of a sandwich to 3/4 but nothing too significant. My little one is growing huge. she has measured 3 weeks ahead and 98th percentile in size so they think she will be about 9 lbs! I was devastated when the weight kept creeping on but I know I can get it off.

So, i have been guilty of falling back into old habits and my weight loss has been on hold for 3 months! I was looking at everyone's progress and i thought OMG what the heck am i doing????? Well, yesterday i went back to basics and just in that one day i lost 3 lbs !!!! This is a tool and even after going astray for 3 MONTHS it still works. I know there are hers out there that are or have been in this predicament but, you do not have to be. It is never too late to get back. If i lose 9 lbs. a month i will be at goal by December (1 year surgiversary). THAT is soooooo do-able

I too have fallen off the wagon, sometime ago. I try to analyze what went wrong, and I think during my second very long stall, I became discouraged. This led to old eating habits coming along, more carbs that I should eat; Hence, no weightloss. so the circle of nothingless begins. No wt loss = non compliance=no wt. loss.
I have my check up on July 19th, and I have not lost a pound in 3 months. This scares me into compliance.
Does anyone else obsess over food like me. I use myfitnesspal to track my eating, even the bad stuff.
I need a kick in the a**. Feel free to do it for me. I welcome the critisism (spelling?).
Thanks for letting me vent. VSG 12/17/12
I am right where you are at sister. We just have to start with the basics Protein, Water, protein, water, protein, water!!! It sounds easy but once you have exposed yourself to carbs and old eating habits it is def not EASY! I keep saying i am going to do the 5 day pouch test (In our case, sleeve test). It will rid us of the "NEED" for carbs and make it easier to say "no".Not to mention, jumpstart our weight loss!

Okay so, i have not lost weight in 2 mos. and June 11th will be my 6 mos out. I was in my last semester of RN school and i totally stopped going to the doc, stopped checking forums, stopped being a sleever. I am 51 lbs down and my "honeymoon" is over. I called and made a appt with my doc and dietician and joined the gym today. I want to reset my sleeve and i saw that some people go back on liquids. Does it work? and how long? Anyway, I have to get back on track. I saw some old pics last night and i saw the sadness and misery on my face. I can NEVER go back there.

Thank you all for your kind words! Sara, that is awesome! It is amazing how much 20 lbs makes a difference . Diva, I am probably one of the most horrible examples because i have a hard time getting all my Water in and im not sure of my Protein status. I just eat protein and rareLy any carbs. I also have not been exercising as i am always in the books, at school, or being a mom of 2 boys. I am in the RN nursing program and it dictates my life. I really need to get back into zumba

I was 8 mos out when I became preg. I am now 18 days from delivery and have gained 37. I wanted to maintain and not gain but it did not happen even though I eat as much as my 3 year old.
