I don't know what I want to do. My surgiversary is August 17th... It is amazing how fast the year went by. I know I should have lost more but 100+# feels pretty good today! Hope my doc feels the same on my year visit;-) Sent from my iPad using VST

    African American Sleevers

You are doing great! I could not have lost 45 pounds in three months without this kind of help...could you? Let yourself be happy with your achievement on this journey...discouragement brings old habits. Blessings;-)

    Weight Gain After Surgery

Hey my "Fifties" people! Any updates? I was sleeved in August 2012. I am going through the longest stall ever! I'm happy to have started this journey but a little frustrated with myself right now. How's everyone else coming along? Need to hear from my age group;-) Sent from my iPad using VST

I'm 55 And Had My Sleeve Done On August 8

Congrats on making the decision to change your life!!! I was sleeved on August 17, 2012. I thought 52 was too old but decided I wanted to enjoy the rest of my life getting out and about without fear and pain, my knees and body hurt all the time. The best decision I made just for me! I have a ways to go and life gets in the way of constant exercise, but I have lost 85 pounds since the surgery. The challenges of day to day issues before the surgery have made these challenges bearable. I put it all in perspective. I can play with my grands without the pains! I am grateful for the new beginning. It will only get better...even with the stalls...ugh;-)
