i also stalled at 3 months.. just rode it out. there's no magic trick to help. Keep your water and protien intake up and you exercise going and you will be fine.. Sometimes the body needs a rest, even tho were not losing lbs. we're losing inches.. Good luck- No longer SUPER-mobidly obese!

it is alot of work but most important it takes will power and lots of it, you dont wanna end up like you were before, so dont endulge in old habits.. work hard at it, stay focused. nobody can do it for us we need to do it for ourselves.. good luck- Feeling great, 105 lbs gone! never to return.
I've lost 105 lbs since oct, 3 2012.. i feel amazing.. its been hard at times but the hard work, working out and walking come alot eastier now. i was buying dog food yesterday, i lifted a 50 lb bag and realzed i have lost 2 of these.. and those suckers are HEAVY!! i look foward to everyday and what is in store fore me.. after suffering 3 strokes battling addictions and alcholism.. i'm loving my life good luck to all of you.. be well and God bless..- Question
Every one's dr. is different .. i would stick to what YOUR doc has planned for you. if you start deffering from the plan now you training your mind to do so also.. get your protien and water in and before you know it you'll be eating new and different things.... My advice anyways, works for me down 105lbs since Oct 3rd..- 2 months surgiversary soon :)
You look great! keep up te good work =)- 've been on here a few weeabout me
Hello eveyone, i've been on here a fews weeks now so i thought i'd tell you a lil bit of my story. i have over come addiction and alcholism to strart living a better life for myself then i had 3 strokes about 3 in half years ago, very difficult time for me mentaly and physicaly.. then my wife at the time decided she couldn't do this, filed for divorce when i was recovering from my second stroke.. good riddens.. i have always been overweight, i was not ashamed of it, its just how i was, i never lack self confidence.. my health was the reason. my doctor told me i would probably be died by t time i was 50, and WOW that hit hard.. well fast foward to Oct 3 2012.. i had my sleeve surgery.. i weighed 550 lbs and had a b.m.i of over 70.. now i'm post op bout 14 weeks down 90 lbs and feel AMAZING!!! look foward to the rest of this journey.. well thats it for now take care, good luck and God bless.. Frank.......- Has anyones sense of smell changed?
I can not stand the smell of hamburger meat and fried foods!!! YES i said it, fried foods!! i loved it before surgery ( part of the weight promblem i guess).. my tatse has gotten really intense now. i savor food more and appreciate it..- 300+ To Loose... Just Got My Surgery Date
my weight was 550 at surgery and my b.m.i. was 74. now it's in the 60's and i've lost 90 lbs. i have still have a ways to go but i feel so amazing.. i suffered 3 strokes about 3 years ago, over come addicition and alcholism and a divorce on the way... i'm enjoying this fight... cuz the rewards are so great.... good luck- Curious?
i was also told not to heat protien, it makes it ineffective.- Internal stitch peaking out!
same thing happened to me. i was told to leave them alone, and sure enough the fell out on thier own..- Cheated and very scared/emotional
The surgery is one tool in this journey, self control and discipline are others.. please learn from this mistake or you are setting yourself up for alot of pain and misery. good luck and stay strong.- Feeling discouraged--sleeved Dec 3
Thats almost a pound a day. thats awesome!! your body is adjusting to a huge change and healing itself. dont be to hard on yourself, give it time. your gonna do just fine. start off by walking a little bit and slowly increase as you loss more weight your engery is gonna go up. take care and congrats!!- Medicare insurance
my medicare paid for mine, my doctor had to get approval on my behalf. i dont know what he said or what he did but he did it..- One week post op stall?
this is normal, your body is adjusting to a huge change. give it time, and your weight is going to come off. remember just cuz your not losing lbs doesn't mean your not getting smaller. be patient as "stalls" happen to us all.. good luck and congrats!- Newbie!
