I'm awake all day pretty much and sleep off and on at night. I can't do anything that requires bending over. It hurts too much. I can get up and down off the couch on my own now slowly. I tried to sleep in my bed last night but that didn't last very long. This abdominal binder has helped a lot. When I stand it puts pressure on my incisions. Mainly the one that hurts the most. It feels like a burning sensation. My doc told me today there's nothing I can do about it. It has to do with what that incision was used for and nerves. I'm having trouble getting all my liquids in. Most stuff makes my stomach cramp for about 30 mins after I eat. I haven't been hungry at all since surgery. I went into the hospital at 263.4 came out at 270 and today I'm 259.8.

The usual about 2-3 off and on. My one incision hurts pretty bad still. They told me today its bc of the tool that goes in that site. I stopped taking my pain meds a few days ago. They weren't helping my incisions anyway. They told me I can take Tylenol so I'm gonna try that today. I do feel better everyday. I didn't expect it to be this bad but if it continues the way it does I should be a lot better in the next 3 days. Ty for checking on me

I've been switching between ice packs and cold packs. My gas pain is stuck in my chest. Keeps me from sleeping. I'm so over my incision pain though. Especially one of them it burns burns burns.

I'm ok on liquid. Sleepy time tea has been great on my stomach. I'm still in a lot of pain. Today I'm getting up and off the couch kinda on my own. My incisions burn. Mainly one hurts the most. I just wish I could move easier.

Still hurting the swelling has gone down but bruising still is horrible. Nausea went away bc I stopped taking my pain meds. What I would love is a full nights sleep in my bed. I've been living on the couch bc its too hard to get up and down. I only sleep about 2-3 hours at a time.

The gas they use has moved around a lot I spent all day yesterday burping and with tightness in my chest. I just woke up feeling like my stomach was doing flips so I took the cramping med and pain med and walked my hallway 10 times. My incisions burn and hurt when I stand. I'm thinking about getting an abdominal binder to prevent movement. As of right now I can't get up on my own. Ice gel packs have really helped with the swelling. That's a lot of random for now lol. Hopefully when I wake up again I will feel a bit better. I'm only getting about 3 hours of sleep at a time.

I went in for surgery morning of Jan 16th and came home Jan 17th. The hospital was good. I had a morphine pump and tylenol iv. By the time I got home yesterday I was in extreme pain. I could barely lay down or get up without crying. And I have to have help. I had to get one.of those raised toilet seats to use the bathroom. It feels like the worst bruise ever and when I stand up all the pressure goes to my belly. Causing my incisions to burn. They glued me so getting them wet is fine. I tried to eat some Soup today but it makes my stomach cramp. Over all I feel horrible. Hopefully tomorrow is better. I can't do anything on my own right now.

I went in Jan 16th came home the 17th.

I just took a shower. I feel better from that but I need help doing everything. I know this gets better but right now I regret it. I'm not missing food at all I just have never been in so much pain.

Im home and super swollen. I would've liked to stay in the hospital an extra day.

They had one on me but took it out before I woke up.

Pain from swelling. I was nauseous bc of the morphine the first night.

They sent me home after one night. I would've liked to stay longer. I'm using gel ice packs for swelling. Getting up and down is hard. I've been given a medicine for stomach cramping and hydrocodone for pain. [ATTACH]8303[/ATTACH]

I hurt horribly.I'm super swollen and my incisions are burning.

I had mine yesterday. I hurt so bad right now.

Right now an eight. I fell asleep and wasn't able to hit my pain killer button.

Oh yah....I have a lot of bruising.

11-1 surgical appt 12-14 testing 12-6 Surgery date 12-11 Insurance approval 1-2 Surgery date So I had a quick approval. I went in November for my first surgical appointment. Nov 14th i did all my testing in one day.Blood work,Ekg, chest xray,ultrasound, barium swallow, shrink . 12-6 Was given a surgery date (my scheduler told me they just do the process and schedule the date. kind of forces them to respond.) 12-11 Got a call from the bariatric section of BCBS telling me I was approved. The lady was surprisingly helpfull. She was a nurse, explained stuff for after surgery and let me know they would be part of my support system after surgery. To be honest I didnt expect this from them. They required nothing from me. My doctors office submitted everything. January 2nd here I come!!!
